    I need some neutral help.

    I played the 2k NBA series for the PS3, this year I already played NBA14. Now I got the PS4 and I don't know if I should updated the 2K game or going for LIVE14.

    I like 2K but appreciate the efforts of EA Sports, I appreciate what EA does for us sport gamers, FIFA is becoming amazing and they are doing a lot to get a good Basketball game.

    I have the feeling 2K did a great game series but they are not doing much about it, instead EA sports is working really hard and I really appreciate that.

    Are there any sliders in LIVE 14? My problem often in Sport games is the defence, which do you find easier to defend? I need realism.

      It depends if your willing to try and enjoy live for what it is, a decent simulation of basketball. It plays very well at moments and bad at moments too. I can't say you won't be shaking your head at moments or a little frustrated but if you can get past those moments you will be very pleased as to what EA has brought to the table. The game keeps getting better because as you have stated, EA is working hard to try and improve live as much as they can. The defence can be hard at times because the post players tend to spin almost every time and its hard to stop( at least for me). I think it's also good to get a different experience as you've been playing 2K already so it will be something fresh for you. There are NO sliders but I find I don't need them anyways as most people on here agree(dont hate me if you think there should be sliders). I definitely think you should give live a go and buy it as I did and am so glad I did.

          My advice, and not to have this turn into a game debate, rent both for yourself. Or buy NBA Live 14 for the PS4, AND upgrade your NBA 2k14 for the $10 as long as you still have the PS3 game. I believe you can still do this through the PSN store.

          Regardless, if you want to recreate the thread in the Basketball (Other Games) section, by all means. But this will go nowhere in the Live forum or the 2k forums. Thanks
