Thats a good point on the contact bit, i played a bit of 2k after Live and got annoyed at every time you move, you get stuck on someone, all the time. Offense/defense and im not talking about being screen, you try to walk around someone and when you get close you get all touchy feely

OP. Current game is alot better then the demo, and to be honest, the game still has alot of areas to improve, which EA said there trying to do. But, if you look around you can get the game cheaper the RRP. Dunno about USA, but in the UK it was £25 cheaper, so i thought "Its worth ago" glad i did

The interesting side of this though is that for the first time I am actually enjoying playing exhibition games. Which is something that I have never experienced before.

This , this and more of this! I haven't felt this way,to be honest, since NBA 2K7 and Live 10 (believe it or not)

Nor have I. I've used more teams this year and played more exhibitions than I can ever remember. And really having a lot of fun using the different teams. Kinda surreal.

i hope they fix the #0 point guard issue soon. i wanted to play the cavs sixers rewind from the other night where miles hit 10 threes but my starting sg was the glitch player. but i do agree about the exhibition games. im having a ton of fun just playing those. im probably going to start a dynasty with the next roster update once the bynum/deng trade is in.

It's a good game to me, if they can seriously patch better animations the game would be much better.

I just picked this game up for $12, so I am not worried about getting burned on it if I don't like it.

Honestly though, I am so fed up with all the microtransactions in 2K that I don't even really play anymore. I think this game will be different from 2K and that I don't need to expect the same thing I have been used to for the last 3 years. I am excited to try it out and get back to a more pure basketball video game where I don't have pay money just to enjoy the game I just payed $60 for.

Sorry, I didn't think that would create such a passionate argument. I play live everyday trying to enjoy it. I was just making an observation. One good thing is I can actually play Live online. 2k is broken despite the fact that it is an amazing game.

So I got sick and tired of the other game being broken and went and bought this game tonight to give it a shot. My thoughts:

Gameplay wise Live is better IMO. Basketball is a smooth, fluid game for the most part and in lots of basketball video games the product you see resembles more Sunday evening old man pick up league than the finest players in the world. Everything is clogged and bodies are constantly slamming into each other. However on Live it is different. Spacing is good and players have that fluidity I am looking for. Controls feel smooth, nothing is clunky and I really enjoy shooting with a face button again.

Graphics and modes Live lags behind but I can live with that because the rest of the product is so smooth. In fact I tried to switch to the other game but switched back to Live because everything was so clustered up.

Another thing, I have always been a dynasty only guy, so I started one right at the beginning to see how that would play out. I simmed to January and saw that Paul George had been traded straight up for Mayo! The interesting side of this though is that for the first time I am actually enjoying playing exhibition games. Which is something that I have never experienced before.

This is exactly my experience.....
