New Title Update (PS4) is NOT "The Patch"

[WTF]

There is a new title update through the in game update system. It took around 2 minutes to download, and then right back to the dash. I'm now back up and running. Going to check things out.

-UPDATE: This is NOT the Patch that we're waiting for, nor a graphics/player update. I believe it's just to smooth some things out, perhaps online related like thatdudetoo posted earlier. If any updates, I'll update the thread as such.

Unfortunately I'm just home on lunch. Jazz & Kanter are still the same. Lebron is still the same, no sliders, practice or player editing that I can see. Perhaps it's updated some players, I'm not sure.

-Did check MKG, he may have been updated, but I thought he was spot on earlier. Kemba possibly as well.
-Giannis definitely not updated. Could be a gameplay adjustment, but I don't have time to play right now.

Hopefully someone can chime in here shortly who has some time to spend.

Well they had server maintenance earlier today I believe so maybe it's an online related updated. Online play sure does need an update.

Just an update, this "update" is not what we're waiting on. I know that much. What it is and what it does, who knows. Like thatdudetoo said above, possibly some smoothing out? Feel free to post here if you find anything, but I don't believe it's anything.

Gameplay Improvements, Potential Graphics Updates, Potential Practice Gym, Potentially Sliders. Nobody really knows at this point what all will be included in the patch. Hopefully we'll find out sooner rather than later.

I played a quick game of PS4 Ultimate Team.

It felt the same as usual.

I didn't notice any new modes or features in the main menu.

Reboot and you'll be good to go Flight. It happened to me too.

Rosters aren't updated with the trade yet. Hopefully later this evening. Also, "something' has been altered on the rosters as the Update number was at 11,339 or something of that nature.

Feels like there is a lot more calls. I had to turn all, except charges, down to 50. Had 4 fouls 2 min in the qt, playing 12 minutes. Charges still don't get called, sometimes they do in the paint, but not up the court.

Saw some new animations under the basket. CPU defense feels a lot tighter, harder to beat them 1on1. I saw a lot of missed shots under the basket, but still to many shots made in the paint.

It feel like it plays smoother, but I'm not sure..

I can now make a half spin, and then hesitate and continue the rotation, don't know if it's new, but I could only pull it off sometimes, now I can every time.

This is not the BIG patch. Might be some minors tweaks, ready'ing us for the BIG one.

Other than the rosters updated I didn't notice anything different with the gameplay. Only played a quarter so that's probably the reason. Gonna try a full game now

A couple of things I noticed pertaining to my hometown team the 76ers. They now have a sleeved red "Christmas" jersey that was not previously present in the game or worn in real life. Also, they finally fixed the numbers for the bench players in which they are now correct.

As far as gameplay goes, I only played a couple of quarters, but I'm not really liking it. I don't know what it is now but it feels sluggish and I feel like I have less control over my players. I will have to play some more, but I was a little disappointed with the gameplay after this new update.
