I'm just trying to understand why anyone would buy this game, when NBA2K14 exists. Is there anything this game does better than 2K?

actually yes, it does some things better than the "other" game.

This game does a number of things better than the other game, and the other game does some things better than this game. To each his own.

Just barely Flight. Good advice, rent it, play the demo, or find someone who has the game. If all else fails, read the impressions. There are plenty of them.
