    crossover

Can anyone explain how to get some separation with the basic crossover (ie flick R stick non ball hand) when driving, it's the one thing other than my lack of proficiency on defense that stops me enjoying the game as much as I'd like to right now.*

When I perform a cross it's so lack lustre sometimes I can't even tell if the ball has shifted hands, the player also does not seem to deviate from his original path. I appreciate that this game is slightly different in that it's not animation driven, but if someone could help me I would be very grateful.

Difficult to tell if anyone is actually paying any attention to the controls thread so thought I'd ask here too.

I find the sig crossovers more "powerful" than you average run-of-the-mill crossovers. Try holding the left bumper button when you do your crossovers.

          Re: crossover

flip the left stick opposite of the ball hand, and follow up with the right stick.

the trick of this is a little delay/timing

          first left stick, then right.

          try it out

I will thank you. Does this not just amount to a double cross though?

no, it's more of a sharp crossover.
