I am playin espn nba 2004- should i buy live? who played them both? I tell u which r the problems i experience in espn : Weak rookies, they dont get good at all, or if they do is rare. Plus , is it true in Live 2004 u can beat real nba records ? (Ex. they will tell me if i scored the most points a player ever scored in the phoenix suns) ? thanks guys, help pls

I got both game. ESPN is OK but i think you really should try Live ( with sliders from this forum). Freestyle is 100 times better than ISO. Yes there is a Hall of the Fame feature in Live04, and you can view all the records in it, but i am not sure if you can break it cuz i haven't broken any record yet. -

The biggest problem I had w/ ESPN was the way the players moved(stiif). ESPN has great graphics though. Live is alright. I found some stuff that was unrealistic. CPU double teams are INSANELY fast. Just try swinging the ball around on the perimeter. Allen Iverson is also ridicously fast in this game. Dude's the human flash. I expect Live 2005 to be off the charts though since their trying to push the game as "real basketball" this year. Should be interesting.Comment

I heard it on ESPN radio. I should have added the word supposedely since we all know EA has promised stuff b4 and failed to deliver. I do give them credit for trying to get "basketball ppl" inovled w/ the making of the game. Too bad that EA rep didn't drop any hints. He said that were all in for a surprise. Just say no to Bill Walton EA.Comment
