Hmm. What to say here. I guess EA has to show how much they're trying to improve the Live product, just like any other gaming company to show off tech for a new game. It just becomes a tough thing for me with EA nowadays after trying to support and defend certain aspects not just cuz it's EA but because I understand what game devs are up against with the powers that be in their companies. Some companies 'get it' and let devs do what they gotta to put out top notch products...but then u have a company like EA who's brass seem to have these twisted ideas about what should be a top notch sports game product.

That being said, whatever to the scanning. NBA2K14 looks phenomenal with most of the player scans they used PLUS the bottom line gameplay is top notch. Not impressed with this because of the shadiness EA continues to pull with their marketing and hype then failing to deliver. Gotta see the final product with this game before I can really judge.
Just cuz you pour syrup on ish....

It's a continuous cycle, my man.

We seen how quick people gave up on Live(or really Live gave up on the people)once that initial 2 month new-ness phase wore off.

They're going in the right direction but they shouldn't be bragging on face scanning. This is something that 2K has been doing since last gen. EA should've been doing this years ago no matter what game it was. They need to show what gameplay adjustments they're making. I hope it ends up good though cause I like diversity and choice and this year their was only one choice to me....2k14. With that said, don't think 2K ain't gonna hit us with a game changer in the next couple of months. Their game is already their and just needs fine tuning like taking some of the animations out that cause issues and tweaking their modes. ANYTHING else they do will just be adding icing to a a cake that already had icing added to it!

LOL you guys are excited of facial scan...? They did same BS with Kyrie Irving and how did that turn out when NBA Live 14 gameplay got released? Don't buy into hype until you SEE PLAYERS IN MOTION!

I don't care if the game is bad/good I just want a PC version of this. EA needs to bring their sports titles to that POS Origin.

Im excited for the graphics I think they will be close to 2k this time.

One think I like about live gameplay is that I felt like I had more control over my players in previous years (ps2, xbox, )

Doesn't Nate Wolters still have black skin in that game? "Live updates" my ***.

Yes, the face scanning looks great; but if we don't see some actually game play of LIVE 15 by gamescon this year; I would bury the hatch in LIVE 15; as I feel they would try and pull the wool over my eyes "again!"
This time, they have no excuses! And No! Apologies!
                  cheers
Im talking specifically about animations within the fullcourt amongst other players. They do not even have to show the actual human flesh of what the players look like to gauge early on, but the movement of models within gameplay. Not the trailer form, or individual demo videos.

The ea smoke and mirrors individual animation previews, trailers etc.. i always take those as just marketing ploys. The history has proven them to always be suspect.

I look forward to a real battle in this space. If Live can come up with something really, really good, I will give it a chance first and then decide whether I buy the other game.
When the game is on the line, winners want the ball.

The bias is so obvious with some folks smh. You same cats that were GASSED off 2k14 ps4 Lebron visual's last summer are now talking about "meh there just face scans" or "EA is a crooked company". I can tell who played Live and who just played the demo. Live gives the player freedom, like one of these editors wrongfully accused the game of players just stand around. No they have a an auto motion setting that's off by default. For those talking animations, just stick to 2k because the animations will never be right without pre-determined two man animations (Mike Wang magic)

Blah, blah, blah... Same old **** different day!
...we held several meetings to discuss the future of the franchise. After going through those meetings, it became very clear that the vision I had for the game was different from where the leadership wanted to take it. I parted ways with EA shortly after...

Your posts are kind of reckless man! EA has more to prove then the other company. They need to gain trust back from the community again by coming out with a basketball game that is worthy of a 60 dollar purchase. I almost always root for the underdog, but they have to give an effort for me to root for them. Lets see if they finally give us that effort with Live 15. Until then everyone will be careful with the early info they put out to not be tricked again.

Maybe that's because one the lebron trailer was in motion while these are stills of a game known for bad movement and two this company is shady and showed us a visually stunning Kyrie Irving last year only to be given what we got. If the company keeps lying to us constantly who are you or anyone else to tell us we're wrong when we have a wait and see attitude about it?

Things I can count on being good from EA....UFC (same team as Fight Night series) and NHL (because they didn't rush the game and their last 7 years have been great). And this coming from a huge MLB and NBA fan...I'd love the MVP series to come back, and I treat NBA Live like the Detox Album...stop looking forward to it because it's a waste of time.
