If the online is stable, and they fix the passing. It will be a buy for me. I have always preferred Live's controls to 2K. Can't wait to see more information.
    NFL: Oakland Raiders
    MLB: Oakland A's
    NBA: LA Lakers
    NCAAF: Oregon Ducks

    EA UFC League:
    Gegard Mousasi - LHW (1-1)
    Dustin Poirier - FW (0-2)
    Sarah McMann - W Bantamweight (1-3)

One of the things that pissed me off about Live 14 was the momentum. Various times when I would get a step on the defender driving to the lane, I felt that my momentum should have carried me in for a lay up or dunk, but instead I pull up for a 6ft jumper. Lol. I couldn't get past that.

They just don’t understand. Someone in their development team is a cancer, and they need to figure out who these people are. Multiple years in development and we ended up with Live 14….

            probably wont happen-

but this is the year for them to take a big bite out of 2k which has f'd up the new gen game.

i'll give them a rental- live 14 was sub par to say the least.

            in no particular order=

            1.full editability,
            2.dlc rosters,
            3-4.improved gameplay/graphics,
            5.30 team control.

thats the big 5 they need to do to get live up and running.

they will most likely do slight graphics improvement, and i will be buying neither game for the first time in years and years.

Well, before 2K, we didn't have much choice but to be "on the live wagon". There weren't really any other basketball games.

We know we’ve got a lot to prove this year, and we’ve got a>>> solid plan in place to provide you with all the details<<< and take the>> first steps<< to making NBA LIVE 15 a game you’re excited to play.

I have a very bad feeling. I want NBA Live to actually succeed which sounds funny coming from me as I do not like EA. I am just sooooo fed up with NBA2K's BullS*** though. All they're concerned about is MyTeam. 5 patches in and the game is still unfinished and broken. Even some of the most basic things like saving settings and play books which are an option but wont work even though it is prompted on screen have been a yearly issue.
I'd love the option to boot up a PLAYABLE NBA LiVe game and decrease the sometimes stressfulness of a game of hoops in the cement shoes defensive world of 2k.
Playing NBA 2K feels like a job that pays minimum wage and then cuts your pay when you get your Bill's right to make it even harder to succeed. I do not like this game but it's the only one in town.

At cheese, I'm trash. At basketball, I'm great!

Let's just hope they get Sleep Train Arena right this time. They've been using the same damn arena sine Live 06 on the 360.

There were a few NBA games over the years with multiple releases. NBA Shootout(actually liked that more than Live in the 90s), Kobe Bryant NBA Courtside on N64. Put a ton of hours into that 2 game series. Those were 2 I particularly liked.

Tecmo NBA Basketball was also great on the NES and SNES. It had the NBA/NBAPA licenses, plus a full season mode with detailed stat tracking.

Meh. All I rmember about that game is Charles Shackleford pretty much being Shaq the remix when it came to season stats. Hed average like 17 rebounds a game no matter what you did, but you use the sixers and his *** was nonexistant. Always made me go wtf.

In my opinion, I'd love to see the online modes in the other EA sports games make an appearance in NBA Live. I'd love to see an online franchise mode, as well as an online my player mode.

I'll say, I'm most definitely interested to see what Live brings to the table this year, which is more than I've generally been able to say at any other point over the last 11 years or so. I still have an "under construction" feeling from them so I fear the game will still be rough in many areas, just based on how much work last year's game seemed to need.

That said, my recent dissatisfaction with my formerly reliable basketball product has me pulling for EA to get it all the way together and produce a very viable alternative. Here's hoping.

Yup. Underrated. Second basketball game I ever owned (after Magic Johnson's Fast Break). Tecmo taught me about backcourt violations, Rod Strickland, and how much easier it is to shoot three pointers from the top of the key versus anywhere else. Good times.

I also remember watching Tecmo's cutscenes and thinking, "What if all the game looked like that?" Then I'd immediately dismiss that thought as being entirely too unrealistic.

Yes, the cut-scenes added so much fun factor to that game. I loved all the different dunk scenes, as well as the ones that would trigger when you timed a three-point shot perfectly. THREE!

The set plays you could run were also pretty decent, for an early-1990s basketball game.
