I'm pulling for you EA, please bring us a realistic game

I'm going to get this out of the way first, I AM A 2k PLAYER SINCE 2K4

Now with that out the way, I am looking for an alternative to 2k basketball. Its clear that they are going for the casuals and created player modes more than worrying about the simulation aspects of their game.

Operation sports USED to be the unofficial / official home of 2k basketball because they don't care to even take part in their own community forum. Well, that's over now. 2k used to stress and strive to make a bball simulation every year while asking community feedback, Thats over now,

For players like me is basically " PLAY OUR SIMCADE BALL TITLE OR STFU"

Now EA has sucked the past few years as everyone has seen but this year I am hoping you guys step it up and bring everyone a realistic bball game we deserves. With 2k's legacy issues, scripted gameplay, excessive servers issues, arcade dunking on everyone style, and easy scoring, its product has degraded in my eyes over the years since live has struggled

This year I am looking at both titles with magnifying glass and I am hoping that Live offers a competitive product. 2k needs a kick in that butt and I know one day you guys will give it to them. Hopefully its this year

I agree. I'm tired of getting dunked on by any and everyone no matter what. I understand dunk-ons happen, but not excessively like 2k exaggerates them to be. I've been playing 2k my whole life and basketball also. After 2k11 it just seems as if the simulation part of the game just flew out of the window. 2k shouldn't cater to arcade players, if they want an arcade game then play NBA Jam. EA should make it a very realistic game, they shouldn't worry about if it's going to sell because it is going to sell regardless all because it will be a fresh start for everyone that is tired of 2k.

At the very least I am hoping they dont try to appease both distinct markets with just one solution, as the competition is doing. That no longer works and EA should know better, as it was the reason to their demise and it seems that is the reason for all the backlash the competition is now getting.

They should give the users plenty of options:

- Online and offline expanded and enhanced customization, editing, create features and options, so users can fit the game into each of our unique views.

I agree will all of you guys. I just want a realistic basketball simulation. I've actually been playing NBA 2K since they're very first game on Dreamcast. I've never actually purchased an NBA Live game. I'm really hoping this will be the first year I'm compelled to do so. Not because if want to see 2K's demise, but because I want options.
