Exactly.......EA is not showing any game footage because they know player models are the same as last year. This time last year we had that awkward Deandre Jordan block video but this year u get screenshots of arenas from the banners. Less than six weeks away from release and no video.

I honestly don't see the big deal.
Its an angle you'll never see nor play on and quite honestly it doesn't stick out to me anymore than last year.
Kind of head scratching to pump out rafter pictures one at a time.. it really doesn't create much buzz or exciting conversation.Comment

I remember last year seeing similar shots of NY and CLE courts..... they looked good in my opinion.
These also look quite good. If the res was higher and perhaps a closer shot, we may just be able to appreciate the "new lighting" a bit more....
What I have come to expect is something in the way of a moving video - time for us to maybe see snippets of the animation improvements.....
If we are to be stuck with screens at this point, I really wish it were something in the way of a broadcast cam - like mid gameplay..... something where we can just appreciate the graphical advancements, player models, lighting, arenas (PROPERLY), rims, etc. etc......
I hope Live does well - I just wish to god they would put themselves out there a little bit..... they might just be surprised with the positive reactions..... it seems like they're a timid boy on prom night afraid to remove their pants for the first time in front of a girl.....Comment

Why don't EA just give up making sports games. They need focus on improving the gameplay rather than the graphics. EA focus on everything else except gameplay. We want SIM sports games.Comment

They actually came out and said they worked on the game play more than anything else this year, whether it's true or not, we will find out soon enough.
And it's obvious, NBA Live 15 promo has begun, and it's starting with these screen shots of the arenas.
Also two people on twitter seen NBA Live 15, one was a verified account (Tattoo Artist) and said it was good. Not sure what we can take from that, but hey, it's somethingComment

This must be such an embarrassing situation for EA. Every year they talk and talk and talk about how great the game's going to be, and how much they changed and improved from the previous year, etc. Then 2k drops a few clips of gameplay footage and the Live team goes back into their hole. The game releases in a month and a half, and you're telling me you don't have a single gameplay clip worthy of showing to the masses, who are clamoring for it? Yikes...Comment

I'm indifferent about this decision to release these arenas pics. On one hand I don't think the lack of info proves anything on the other hand I don't see how this is helping EA win anybody over. One arena pic is cool if they are going to release one at a time for the next few weeks that seems like over doing something that's not that important to the overall value to the game.You looking at the Chair MAN!
