In my life i shut no doors. I mean, have i lost interest in the constant hype machine year after year? Yep!!! i want live to succeed but that doesn't mean it will. Actions speak louder then words and that's all we seem to get from EA.

I cant give up on a series. I will always keep an eye out for, and support, a quality product. If/when Live reaches that point where I feel like its a full fledged NBA sim, I'll gladly support the product. They have a decent foundation, but I need to see something good to buy this year. That bar raises more as I hear more info about NBA 2k. And that sucks too because NBA 2K is looking like it's gonna be a beast this year.

This is such a juvenile way to look at something. If anything you should give up on the series as long as it sucks. If Live 15 isn't up to your standards you'd be foolish to hold that against Live 16. Like wise if you love 2k15 you'd be foolish to assume 2K16 would be up to your standards. Each year should win you over or lose you based on it's own merits.

I think everyone can agree in saying that the last good game NBA Live series was nba live 10.. allthough it was'nt amazing.. it gave you something to look forward to as far as gameplay wise... I didnt get that feeling with nba live 14, Dont get me wrong.. I have it for both systems and played the crap out of it!! For me it didnt really have that replay ability for me to keep coming back .. through out the year of its release there were a few updates that made the game play better.. and sometimes played ..ehhh.imo, but Live has something I cant put my finger on that makes me keep coming back again, and again.. I asked the question if Live 15 sucks will you stick around?? my answer is yes! two reason, Im sure most would agree that we need competitive gaming between the two power house companies.. as gamers we only win..and Two, whoever got on That Live train back in 06 when D Wade was the cover boy, wants to see a final result.. We/ME/US havent wrote Live off just yet.. even when they cancelled days before release... smh. I do believe In the franchise.. I feel Like they are putting there Heart and soul into this one... and when is the last time you felt like that about a game? heres to the Devs and NBA LIVE Fans and haters.. CHEERS!!!

Nope I need something different. First year I didn't play basketball games since neither offered anything. Played live a little more because it was something different.

My opinion, bball games sucked the last few years. If it wasn't for the pc community I would have stop playing years ago.

Live is in experiment mode and love it or hate it 2k is 2k.

Just cpu players pulling up mid range jumpers got me excited for 15. I think anyone who gave It a real look saw a few positives moving forward.


And it can't get any worse. Is that even possible?

To answer your question... yes it can get worse.. just look at mlb 2k series.. the harder they tried the more horrible the game play got.. imo..

I dont support bad games with a $60 purchase. Like others i hope in the upcoming years Live makes a competent game but my money is reserved for the best game and so far that has been 2k. Maybe I will support live 17

The way I see it, you don't need to give up on anything. If you don't like it enough but still like some aspects, just wait for a major price-cut and get it for cheap/used. It's not like you have to choose either to play the entire series or not. You can decide game-by-game. It's not a HBO series, where you wouldn't understand episode 2, if you didn't watch the first one.

I "gave up on Live" a while ago, but still bought some of the PS3 titles for cheap/used if I found some aspects that I liked.

Well to be honest I remember them saying that this will be a process...perhaps this year will be graphics/movement...next year passing/game modes etc?? who knows. They got a long road ahead of them that's for sure. Just be happy we have "options" and aren't being forced to play ..lol

The live series has done themselves no favors over the past 4 or 5 years...now with them remaining mostly silent as far as showing video of Live 15 or even stills of the game at this point. This speaks volume to me, they have no "hype" for this game at all. Idk what say for the developers of this series...I'm hoping the developers get the series back on the right track, but, if the past says anything about what we could see in the future, I don't have much hope left...

Why would you give up? Just read reviews each year and when it seems good you buy it again.
It doesn't need to be a black and white question.
