24 attempts to capture a video that looked decent.

I can't imagine playing this if it doesn't have a good set of sliders. The help defense looks terrible, and based on that first clip, you can't play on ball defense.

You have to be kidding me, that trash looks just like Live 14. That has to just be a roster update and not the improved next gen visuals?? Gameplay still looks too arcade style and the same. This.just.isn't.good. smdh

The animation upgrade is apparent, even though the animations themselves still look a little wonky (I just think that's Live's style) the transitions look super smooth....

Other than that...not really impressed with these short clips....don't know of they dumbed down the defense for the sake of creating these, but the off ball defenders are just standing there while their man goes and gets the ball...looks like the user had to grab the defender in the first clip to make him come out to a respectable distance...

Only thing that bothers me about the replay is that the camera moves with each bounce of the ball. It's a little jarring.

              Well, the article does say:

We’ve also improved the user’s ability when playing on-ball defense. Now, it is easier to cut off drives and stay in front of the basketball with bumps, jostles and contests – in this case – forcing Waiters to make a pass.
I hope it's true, and also hope that the CPU knows how to use these defensive tools as well. Not sure what it means regarding team defense, but one can only hope it's not a Live 08 team defense.

              RAM: 48 KB
              OS: Sinclair BASIC

you can tell they worked on player movement a lot. That Harden move was sick. Lebron's dunk and the passes look too slow though wtf. not enough player off ball movment. need to see some onball and offball screens. I wonder what gameplay elements they plan to work on in 3 weeks.

Ariza was user controlled it looks like he let LBJ go by on purpose. Also I didn't like Kyrie standing in one spot the whole possession

I can see why they haven't shown gameplay sooner...
Animations are definitely improved. Short clips but liked them. Eager to see a full quarter of gameplay.
It’s easier to do the right thing, than to explain why you didn’t.

Your exactly right , on ball d looks rough and your pretty much out there on an island if you lose your man on d. Its 2 points easy.

I don't know. It looked better to me, and I was not a fan of 14 at all.

Video looks promising on first viewing.

On the topic of the delay. This is why we bring up EA's past to those of you that like to talk about letting all that go. To those of us that want to see multiple basketball titles on the market again, particularly multiple quality titles. This is not that big of a deal. It's concerning cause I'm not sure what they can accomplish in an extra couple of weeks that they couldn't already have gotten done since they should be going gold around next week or the week after already.

Having said that, a delay hurts in the eyes of the casual consumer who just sees another "lol EA/Live sucks" moment. This looks so bad because of yet another year of saying nothing all summer and giving annoying, arena shot glimpses before finally trickling out a trailer only to drop this news a week later. Whatever goodwill you built with that trailer, you just squashed with a lot of those types. We live in a world where perception becomes reality. So constantly leaving yourself open to where negative perceptions can be formed about what you're doing is a real issue. Long story short. It's just not a good look man.

                              Hey everybody,

If you’re anything like me, after following all of the storylines leading up to this year's NBA Draft, a really entertaining NBA Summer League and all the other basketball news this summer, you're excited for the upcoming 2014-15 NBA season. It should be amazing.

The team has been pushing hard all year to make NBA LIVE 15 both look and play great, and I couldn’t be prouder of the work they’ve done. You may have seen a few early preview pieces pop up from our visits with press or our recent trip to Gamescom, and we’ve been getting some great feedback from our conversations with the media, as well as from all of the play testing we’ve been doing over the last few months.

It was great to see such a positive response to our Visuals Trailer that we released last week. We think we’ve come a long way since the launches of the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 last November, and we’re still working on tuning certain areas in 5-on-5 gameplay. The team took on an incredible amount of work this year literally touching every single system in gameplay, focusing on providing improved control and responsiveness, as well as animation that both looks and feels great. That will be our calling card moving forward.

Considering all the work that’s gone in so far, we will be taking a few extra weeks to polish the game and make sure you get an incredible NBA experience from the moment you first boot up the title. This extra development time means we will be moving our launch date to October 28 to line up to opening night of the 2014-15 NBA season. This was a hard decision, but it’s the right one, as we are totally committed to delivering the highest-quality game we possibly can. You’ll be hearing a lot more from us over the coming weeks, starting with a brand-new gameplay blog that will give you the first details on all the ways we plan to deliver on our promises to build a better experience.

As I said, we’re very proud of the improvements we’ve made in NBA LIVE 15, and we believe with some additional time, our game will reach its full potential.

We’ll also be providing additional blogs, videos, deep-dives and more in the coming weeks as the game comes together and we prepare for launch. And as always, I encourage all of you to make up your minds and see for yourself by playing the trial when it becomes available closer to launch.

I'll go out on a limb and say that this is on Rookie difficulty, due to the off ball and help defense.

Also, user vs user just to show some "stuff" like the contested jumper, Lebron poster, Harden And 1.
