I think this is going to be a GREAT Year for basketball gamers. NBA Live Series has taken a Major step forward back into the Market. Which is Great for Both Companies and ALL Gamers.

I hope they dedicate another video to show off some of the results of true collisions.

Did they ever mention the engine they are using for the "rag doll physics"?

This actually looks pretty good, once I youtubed it for a decent stream in HD. After being a little underwhelmed by the 2k gameplay stream I watched earlier, my NBA Live interest is at an all time peak. C'mon EA, finish strong baby!

I didnt derail ANYTHING, Check Twitter I Support BOTH Games.

I am Looking forward to 5 on 5 action, but I have talked to some EA Gamechangers and Fernando quite a bit, so I know the Live team is putting a Ton of effort into the game.

I wasn't that impressed, I mean it is improved from Live 14 but still moves bad imo. Movement is still stiff and robotic looking, dunks still look weird, and players are still hunch back.

agree, the animations really look bad. very fake looking.. PS2, only in HD

people jumping for joy - have you seen how good the 2k animations are? This is what Live needs to aim for...

                but..... yay, improvements for Live.

Come on man m, it doesn't look like PS2

I'm not a fan of the animations but I don't think they should be trying to duplicate 2k, just improve on their own style and make them look more lifelike...

I said it looks like the HD version of PS2.. nothing next gen about it...

I didn't mean they should copy 2K.. but 2K is going for realism, and Live is going for robot basketball...

i suppose if that's what they are going for, then they are succeeding...

Also (trying to be as constructive as possible) I laughed a little when he mentioned "adding flare and style" to passing when showing some pretty basic one handed passes by CP3, Rondo, and Lowry. I don't need through the legs, behind the back or crazy White Chocolate dishes, but give your audience some credit when you laud your "freestyle passing" for more than what it is.

I personally like EAs style of animations when it comes to dribbling or any other movement. The other company sometimes seems too fluid, fluid to a point where it looks like gummy worms. NBA live gives a more sharp style of animation
