I have a question about dunk ratings some players need. Very low ratings pg tend to dunk to much.... Some players who aren't dunkers dunk a lot also I think lowering dunk ratings for pg and dunkers who rarely dunk will make the game more realistic....

Mentioned this before...

They need to use the entire scale of 0-99 for ratings because even at 40 usually the minimum rating in Live players will still be able to dunk, block shots and steal the ball.

I know Fernando said something about reducing the ratings lower weren't his call and that we should take into consideration that these are NBA players.

But in my experience with Live over the years sometimes you just have to reduce the ratings down in order to make the actual tendency work doing gameplay.

JJ Reddick probably can dunk but the point is he doesn't do it so therefor in order to bring out the best realism in gameplay a 0-20 rating would be more appropriate for guys like Reddick.

I would also suggest if they don't want to reduce the Dunk Rating than atleast reduce the vertical ratings which help to off set some of the dunking we see by players who wouldn't even attempt to dunk.

This stuff has all been proven before to EA through extensive feedback on ratings over the years.

Yes these are NBA players and lower ratings might look bad on the surface but under hood when it comes to how those ratings play out on the court they will see that it makes much more sense.....but hey not everyone plays Live for a realistic SIM experience some people would probably be upset if they can't dunk with any player in the game.

I hear you guys and you all bring up good points.

Unfortunately, the ratings can only do so much within the mechanics/frequency of dunks. This is more on how the gameplay uses the rating.

Totally agree!

The data moves all of the ratings and the systems have been set up have done about a B+ job so far. Lots of good stuff but, also, room for improvement.

Some of the players aren't moving as expected, Butler included, I'll be adjust his ratings manually after the next one to get him where he should be.

I'll start a thread after the next update and we'll talk about him and some other players that aren't moving as expected either. I'll break down some of the overall formulas and how they work. I can't get too specific though. So, it'll be pretty high level stuff. I look forward to your feedback and input. We have a knowledgeable group on here and it should be a fun discussion.

Chris bosh doesn't wear arm sleeve or sweat band.
Also I'm not sure I you can do this but if possible can you give Penny hardaway longer socks and better signature dribble moves? That's one of the few things that separates players I this game and he just has the generic ones. Same for Kyle Lowry, Eric Bledsoe, and monta Ellis. They are all elite guards and should have better signature dribbles

I totally agree with you man I like that Fernando actually respond to our post so that's why I make these list ...I watch a lot of basketball so I make a list base off what I see ...And Yes Of EA Add in Player Edit Mode This Game will be Whole Lot better ...But thanks Fernando for supporting us with daily updates

David west has arm sleeve in game. Remove it and change elbow band to an elbow pad. Russel Westbrook Needs hand wrap. Nick young leg sleeves

Alright, I've seen this a few times.

Plumlee wears 3/4ths but, the socks come up and meet the leggings.
I'll probably just go ahead and give him the full length to stop seeing this message

Deron didn't wear his leggings the last two games. I'm going to keep them off.

Raptors starting line up is now incorrect (with respect to the Derozan injury). It should Vasquez at the 2 spot, not Lou Williams.
