Is there input lag in this game (online and off) ?

I watched a video where someone said that there is input lag offline.

Is this true? If so, how apparent is it? And what about online?

I have 2K15 for PS4, and there is input lag both offline and (especially) online. I'm strongly considering getting rid of it and getting Live 15 instead.

No. Responsiveness is what I have to have in my games, and it's also what I harp on individually. The game is extremely responsive offline. Online, I've only played one game, and it was buttery smooth. You'll have to check with others who play online more than I do for that though.

Is the defense responsive online ? Can u feel the difference between an elite and average defender ? How are blocks and steals ?

I wouldn't call it input lag, but it's not just like offline. The shooting timing is even more quick online. Honestly, you BARELY need to tap the button to have a shot at a "Great Release". I also don't feel like you are in as much control of your player's responsiveness as offline, but not bad. My real problem is just lack of online options. No sliders. No lobbies. There is play friends but only in a 7 game series with no changes available in quarter length, game difficulty, etc. Of course no leagues or online franchise. I'm in the minority in that I do not care about Ultimate Team, and I see no reason to play the Head 2 Head Seasons. Oh, and also, EVERYBODY picks the Cavs . I backed out of 6 opponents who already had them loaded and ready to go when I got to team select screen.

Please continue with the replies. This is a game-breaking issue for me (if it is present like it is in 2k)

If there is it's just response time might be a tad slower online depending on your connection. I don't notice any type of response problems offline

Played my first game online and saw a little bit of lag. Could be due to my opponents router or the fact that it was release day. Was beating him by 30 and he decided to quit with 35 seconds left. It didn't even register it as a win..

I've been reading this a lot. It looks like it might be a problem. Live 10 had a similar bug with W's not being registered.

Don't know if you would consider this input lag, but the shot releases online are comically fast

Yeah had the same issue last year as well. Made it hard to adjust to timing when you switch to offline modes.

Every game (especially basketball) you can't "switch" from offline to online. The timing/lag is always different (some games, worse than others). You either play online or offline. You cant jump from one another. Thats why I don't play offline anymore, it screws up my jump shooting/freethrows. If you strictly play online and only online you hit that rhythm and learn to adjust with the lag.

That's like the direct opposite of what input lag is supposed to do right lol. Releases are too fast in the demo for me too

Input lag online is not bad at all.

I just wish that I could find a sweet spot for my jumpers. The release seems too early.

                              Tighten up EA.
