I finally decided to return my game today, will buy again in the next couple of months if they do some serious updates. EA is on to something, though they have a long ways to go IMHO. I love the gameplay of Live, outside of the animations, though the game needs some serious TLC when it comes to customization, and allowing you to play the game they way you want to. My final straw was playing against the Jazz with the Bucks and leading by almost 30 before halftime on SuperStar Setting, the Jazz were essentially non existent. The Spurs play great ball in this game, the only team to put up a serious challenge in a lot of ways. Will be back later on if the situation improves. In closing, this game has some serious potential and ultimately with a lot of work, dedication and commitment from the development team could ultimately become the Live that we all grew up playing, many, many years ago.

Have you tried Pro Level with the no switch rule defensively meaning you only control one defender at all times?

Allow your AI teammates to handle their own defensive assignments and utilize Ratings for shooting instead of human skillset?

That's just a suggestion but ido realize without sliders it could be tough on any level to get the desired results or challenge your looking for in the game.

So I restarted Dynasty, chose the Dallas Mavericks like I originally planned on.

Want to say thanks to whoever said to make the game play on Ratings only for shooting and FT.

My games have been much more balanced as is my team scoring.

A lot more enjoyable.

I play 12 min quarters with accelerated clock and my scores are in the low 80s high 90s.

Fun Game.

Also, watching this Cavs vs Blazers game, I've seen constant hook shots, contact shots going in at an alarming rate, swishes for basically every make, pick n roll based gameplay, posting for Kaman/Lopez even when Lillard, Aldridge etc are in.

Game is looking exactly like Live 15.

Kaman came from the 3 pt line unnoticed for the rebound and offensive put back. If that would have happened in game, I would have raged, haha.

Lopez is 6-9 currently against the Cavs, mostly on 12-footers.

If people saw Lopez making those shots on Live, they'd say it was unrealistic.

A few bugs from online. Some apply offline
It's pretty easy to shoot 100% from the FT line regardless of the shooter
Using the touchpad to call TOs only does 20 sec TOs
James hardens euro step is literally unstoppable
The skip button sometimes doesn't disappear in the bottom left corner

Just played a horrific game, 76'ers me vs pistons cpu

Gah. The 76'ers are god awful.

0-12 from 3. 0 from 12. Zero. Yes, zero.

The pistons fouled me 15 times. Why? I have no idea. The FT line was the only thing that kept me in this game.

What is starting to really piss me off is the behavior of the forwards and centers of the human side. They do nothing, absolutely nothing. I started watching the cpu forwards and center. They work in unison to prevent penetration while mine spread apart to allow it (not just this game, all games).
The cpu will also auto box out with 2, even 3 players while I can only pick one player to control and hold LT to box out, they also dive under my players and always establish better positiong for rebounds on both ends of the floor.

Its bad programming to make the user do everything when they can only control one of five players.

Anyway here are the awful stats to an awful game. Not NBA live, the pistons 76ers, that is the awful game.

Man if I could make player like LeBron miss to two shots at the rim in Live by just being present in the lane like Kaman did in this CLE/POR game that'd be awesome...lol

And points in the paint isnt the problem. Points right under the basket, that is the problem. I would be thrilled if the cpu cut into the lane and shot one from the elbow or just inside the ft line. Its all put backs or passes to someone low right under the basket.

Here's my game vs Pistons on SS. 3-point numbers look great. Probably 5 of those CPU misses were wide open looks. And 1 of the makes was a full court shot at the 2nd quarter buzzer by Drummond! Otherwise they were 1-10.

Btw are other people seeing way too many half court or longer shots made? I've maybe played 15 games since launch and have seen 4. Way too many...
