Difficulty and Success
What difficulty level are you guys playing on and what kind of record against cpu do you have? Win all the time? Half and half?Tags: None -
Re: Difficulty and Success
I always start playing a game on the default difficulty, which is Pro. I probably win 7 out of 10 games. I usually up the difficulty when I start decimating the CPU all the time. -
Re: Difficulty and Success
OKC is pretty good, but not as overpowered as Cleveland right now. Play with other teams for more of a Challenge. The best team in the game is the San Antonio Spurs. Everyone on that team can shoot. I went Cleveland against Spurs and they beat me by 7 points. I was down by 23 at the half, so that should tell you that they are no joke. The 2nd Game, I lost by 2, but the game was close from start to finish.
All in all....if you can get your hands on a retail copy or rent it from your local video store, you should play with other teams. Sacramento, Suns and etc. Team and player ratings will go up and down soon since the season has just started.Last edited by Vic Viper; 10-29-2014, 07:28 PM.Comment

Re: Difficulty and Success
I've blown out the CPU twice now on Superstar.
I think it's because I changed shots to Ratings instead of Skill. Have to change it back and see.Comment

Re: Difficulty and Success
Sorry, maybe there are articles about this that I missed, but how does it work regarding ratings? What would affect shot success more - ratings or your skill (I assume 'skill' means releasing the ball at the right time...)?My Specs:
ZX Spectrum
CPU: Z80 @ 3.5 MHz
GPU: Monochrome display
RAM: 48 KB
OS: Sinclair BASICComment

Re: Difficulty and Success
I'm not sure what the options are this year but last year i always used Ratings + User Skill. That way I knew I could trust people like KD or Westbrook but still had to perfect the timing. In Live its also about the set up, some people shoot better 3's right after receiving a pass than they will if they were just standing around trying to set it up. That being said give them like have a second to set and plant their feet after receiving pass and launch 3 in one motion like in real life. If you go to the video highlights thread, on the last page I posted a game where I was shooting 71% of my 3's early onand one of those came on the second play of the 1st quarter, dished it out to KD in the cornerComment
