hmm, interesting, i'll prolly do the same thing, with the Lakers vs. Heat thing........you know its funny, i updated my rosters in NBA 2K4 and simulated a season, the Lakers and Heat met up in the finals, it was Kobe vs. Shaq...........obviously, Shaq and the Heat won the Finals, but Kobe put up some impressive numbers......

I'm gonna use Lebron James vs. Vince Carter, obviously Vince has more fancy dunks than LBJ, but w/LBJ's height, hops, he can give Vince a run, since Vince has lost a little hop and is shorter than LBJ. Anybody see LBJ's 2 hand reverse pump earlier this week? Talk about amazing, too bad LBJ, AI, and Amare couldn't play today. I just wish that Carmelo could get up like Lebron and Vince could, Carmelo's got the skills, he just don't quite have the same athleticism as Lebron, but that's being super nitpicky, Carmelo's awesome anyway. And how bout D Wade, I'd have to put him and Lebron about even in dunking and athleticism, except Lebron's MUCH bigger, which is his advantage, where as Wade's got more skill, but I guess Lebron's 19 yrs old, the skill will come. How about Lebron, Vince, D Wade, and J Rich in a 4 man dunk contest, now you're talking!!!!

A better contest involvin Wade would be Franchise, B Diddy, Fred Jones and Wade in a 4-man dunkfest. They are all about 6-3 with Jones being 6-2 which would make it a fair contest.

Hey Wiz, VC's vertical is 40 inches, Lebron's is 38. So if you figure that Lebron is 6'8" or 6'9"(he's not done growing), and has a little over a 7 foot wingspan, and Vince is only 6'6, and probably doesn't have the long arms like James, James probably gets a little higher b/c he's about 4 or 5 inches longer than Vince when you figure out his body length gives him the advantage. By the way, I got that fact from ESPN insider, they measure players height, arms, and vertical before the draft. So if you want to be exact, it's not a stretch to say that Lebron does in fact get as high or higher than Vince. James actually took a quarter off the top of the backboard in practice this year, according to the Akron Beacon Journal. Anyway, it all depends if you like James or not, even people that claim that they don't hate Lebron tend to call him overhyped, or say he's not so amazing, but I guess even MJ had his doubers early on. OH well, the fact that James is 245 pounds and can get up is even more amazing, all the other highflyers tend to be skinny, except for Barkley. Oh well, if you make the jump w/o even one year of college experience like Melo or Magic, and are Rookie of the Year, there's gonna be haters saying they know this or know that, I just go by what I see, or know, such as the fact James vertical IS 38 inches, that he IS 6'8 1/2, 245 pounds, 7'1" wingspan, I don't like to argue over stupid stuff that people agree or disagree about, it's not like we can get out a tape measure and ask Vince and Lebron too jump as high as they can, and see for a fact who's higher, and I doubt that Vince or Lebron tries to jump AS high as they can on every slam anyway. I do know this, James WILL end up being a much better player than Vince is. Just like when Kobe came in and averaged about 8 points and shot 37 %, people had bad things to say even when Kobe showed glimpses, despite 3 airballs in a row to beat Utah. People have no faith. Then a kid comes along and shoots 42 %, 21 points, 6 assists, 18 years, and team doubles in WINS, without adding a major free agent or a player returning from major injury, and the HATERS still come up with stuff. Gotta LOVE IGNORANCE baby!!!!!
