What patches should i be looking for?

ima bout to get a pc version of 2004...and i wanted to know what updates i should have

i dont really know what i should be looking for...i went to one of the live sites but they had so many different one and hosts...i got confused

does anybody know the hottest set...these things seem like slider settings in a way...where is one with accurate faces and rosters or what have you

do i need like advanced pc hardware for these patches to truly show their colors?

U probably should get the the lastest roster update. Probably a couple of player updates too. Cuz I know I patch the hell of the my game on PC. I usually get shoes, courts, and player udates, from the downloads section of the NLSC. U probably need to update the graphics card too If u really want the game to shine.

The NLSC is your source for basketball video games, primarily covering NBA Live and NBA 2K.

        thats all you need.

            NBA-Live.org

That and NLSC is a good site for all the patches you need. Make sure you also check out the forums of each site cause you might find something you like that isn't on the main site.

Courts, rosters, & player patches are what I'd download first. After those, go download jerseys, scoreboards, accessories and such. Also look out for DANet's 2x patch, makes everything high-quality.

Do they have a patch to fix the FA bug?

I suggest you get the offcial EA patch first that allows you to play the game at a better resolution. Then when nbalive.org has their servers running properly after the olympics, download some of the roster, court, and player patches. Some dude, (frogot his name) even has a patch that fixes all the player models to make them look more realistic.

ESPN Patches, ABC, patches....real nice addons to the presentation as well.
