    Some Improvements for Ultimate team i (and the community most likely) would love

    first off, i love the ultimate team game modes across the boards (all the EA titles) but i feel that live 15 may just have the worst one (online pvp wise) compared to the rest. but seeing that EA wanted to make this game a better product from last years mess. i can let it slide since we did get a VERY GOOD GAME out of it. but if some of these arent in live 16, then something is VERY WRONG.

    i may or may not come back with pictures to make this look a bit more professional, and to show live examples of what im talking about (can i add pictures from my hard drive?)


    1. Add the Seasons modes into the online. NHL's below



    the other games have it. why doesnt NBA? i mean i would figure thats a KEY portion of the game PVP mode. it helps more than 1 things in the game as well,

    a. It keeps the game fair and balanced. no one wants to face the guy who 300-2 right out of the box. (as seen below) we need some tiers and balance if the live online for UT is suppose to last a long time.



    b. it gives people something to play for. we all wana play for something. most wana play for the top spot and face only the best while climbing the ladder to get there.

    If the reason why this wasnt added into the game was because the live community isnt "as big" (as shown during late hours when you can match with the same person 5 times ) then do what 2k does (im sorry, i know you guys hate this) and make it where if it takes too long to find a person in your seed, then you look in others.

    the other thing that makes this puzzling is that there a seasons mode for HEAD 2 HEAD. why couldnt this make the jump over to LUT? (Below)





    2. Hide either my Record or Hide my team. from my opponent

    too many times i have ran into this problem on LUT,

    *Searching for match*
    - Person pops up
    - Sees my team (overall 83) along with 26-3 record
    - Leaves IMMEDIATELY


    thats not fun. i mean, yea thanks for not wasting my time and all but come on, whats the point of coming online to face other competition, if you are going to rage quit when it looks like im too good. you neverknow whats going to happen in game. BBALL is a game of streaks and runs. but too bad these guys will never find that out because they are scared that they are going to lose from the second we match up.

    by removing the above, you would make it like the other games UT modes (NHL/Madden) i believe in those games respectfully, you only see the star player / and overall, and more games will be started and get played.

    3. can we get a cleaner UI? NBA's Below



    simple enough. i just feel like compared to other UTs, the live interface just might be the worst. this of course is opinion. but i would love to see who am i buying from or who buys my item. and just a more organized thing. NHL/Madden's looks so clean compared to NBA. (NHL Below)



    4. Unlink the Online and OFFLINE settings

    ALOT of people might hate me for this one but lets be real, this is cheap. im not sure about fifa or NHL, but im sure the game runs on its DEFAULT (or elevated) level

    but on NBA, the game online solo challenges runs off the coaching settings you can set OFFLINE. so to save a long story you can get LOTS of good packs and items. from exploiting this and never losing vs the CPU. (of course its easy to tell who can do this by watching how they play when they hop online with the stacked team they have.

    the lone pro about this is that this game can be on some **** sometimes making some challenges alot harder than it has to be (IM LOOKING AT YOU STAMPEDE) so i guess this evens the playing field.

    5. Add a UNRANKED MODE, or PLAY WITH FRIENDS

    madden has this. ima guess Fifa does by how my friends go on about it. but this is something NBA (and NHL) lacks. the game mode would be alot more fun if we can play our friends in a lot easier way, than going to ranked and quitting out until we match with each other. then hitting friendly quit at the last second so the results dont hurt anyone. (madden below)




    6. its basketball EA, let us control our players minutes and Rotations

    Thanks LiveKing for reminding me about this one.

    but yea, i was so shocked what we couldnt control how many minutes we wanted certain people to play, and that the line up would just be random as hell. i mean everyone has their own gameplan, and if it wasnt caught on immediatly following a timeout, these random subs would certainly kill someone's run or break what ever they are trying to run. like in my case, i have Joe Johnson playing a SF this game would sub him out immediately for Iggy. instead of just letting this rock for a while, same with my PF/C situation. i have the lopez brothers running PF/C (brook/Robin) for lols. well this game will take brook out of the game and never put him back in unless i do so myself. it would be alot easier to just set a rotation/ mins thing so i dont have to do this every game (something 2k has done right)



    7. where is the chemistry system?




    all the other UTs have this, (NHL)




    and i feel that chemistry in BBALL is VERY important. as it would be in any other team based sport. so the fact this isnt in live is VERY SHOCKING. if this is included it would actaully promote more strategy into building a team that works well with each other, instead of a Super team full of studs who can do everything.

    just make the chemistry work the way it does in the other games, Same team? Same nationality ? Family? Playstyles that can MESH? the team gets a plus in chem.

    well those are my top 7 problems, that i would love to see addressed. i hope you guys can make it through this and tell me how you feel and add some things, and hopefully someone at EA can see this and post how they feel about this.

    Lord knows I hate Auto Subs in my Ultimate Team lol. I hate Auto subs in General

        I would also add that if EA does include FIBA teams in 16', it would go a long way to not only make the building of teams challenging and more rewarding, it would also make for less similar teams in online play, and the amount of added players would add to the different team types, and also the "team/player" chemistry implementation as mentioned above. It should also make EA more money from the rest of the world, whose basketball video gamers would be interested in the chance to play with localized players and teams from their own regional leagues.

        FUT is easily the best of the bunch of the EA UT modes IMO, and NBA LIVE should copy.

          Some Improvements for Ultimate team i (and the community most likely) would...

          Leader boards, head to head seasons, edit minutes for player, change team colors for accessories for each jersey, trade block, sets, better Ui and organization especially for the auction block. More Jerseys and legends, (especially old school role players. They don have to all be great, but it would be cool to have like Rick fox or Steve Kerr)

          As a side if you get more legends like close o full teams how great would it be for big moments. I know you probably can't get Jordan but I you could imagine a big moment against the Pistons with the Jordan Rules in the coach settings against you and you still have to get buckets player locked to him!!! Would be great

              Thanks, I hope to see major improvements to a already good mode.

              I wonder if any of 5th said improvements can make it to the game before the next one, so we can have it and yall can fine tune it well for next time

                I wish all ultimate team modes in all EA titles had games where if you won you would get to pick a card off the team you beat.

                Pink slips.

                This would allow EA to distribute more cards into the eco-system. fifa for example with its legends, good luck getting one...

                And nba live with its 3 at a time legends and you only get them out of packs...its the worst.

                So for example right now in nba live we should have games in ultimate mode where you have to beat the charlotte hornets with muggsy at point.

                    Ability to apply contracts to multiple players at once.

                    In auction block be able to organize by Over all, but now price, ect

                    More rewards other than packs. Look at madden and all the things they do.

                    Madden has the play the regular season for a certain team thing and you get a gold player from that team, obviously you can't make us have to play 82 games, but maybe choose 20 of the best ones for each team for us to play.

                      I wish there was a message board in the auction house so people could request and bargain outside of actual auctions. I would love to tell other Xbox one players that I'm looking for a Melo and am willing to drop 150,000 on him...

                        Great suggestions man, those are definitely needed in the game but since not many people are playing Live I'm not sure if many of the suggestions would be in the game soon (example Seasons).

                        About chemistry I'd suggest it to be similar to FIFA which chemistry should be affected by position, team the players are from, relation with his teammates, relation with his coach, loyalty to the team (you get it by playing him more than ten games). Chemistry by position would be strong if he plays in his natural position and weak if he plays in his secondary position (if he has one), one example could be LeBron James (SF=Strong, PF=Weak). Chemistry by position would be null if two players play from different conferences, weak if they play in the same conference, strong if they play in the same division and hyper (the max) if they’re from the same team. Chemistry by coach could only affect minimally to the players which play in the same conference.

                        I had another suggestions for the mode in the Wishlist thread but since it didn't have many replies I guess I could put them here:

                        1) Integrate Chemistry to the mode. Chemistry in Ultimate Team should be a very important role, it should affect the efficiency of the players on the court and affect the performance on your team in order to win. In other words, the chemistry is a factor that helps the game play by interacting with the familiarity of the player with the club and his positioning, the relation with the other players and the manager. In general, the introduction for chemistry should be there to give more logic to the game and to make the building of a team more complex, challenging and diverse, if not building teams would only consist on just having the best players and then when you play online there’s little variety between teams.

                        2) Add more team logos and jerseys. For team logos I like the variety but for instance alternate logos could be added.
                        I found the amount of jerseys on Live 15 quite lackluster, there are tons that could be added from the different eras; they could even add old All Star game jerseys, the 80’s old school ones, the 90’s themed ones or the most recent jerseys from the 00’s. It could be interesting if some rare cards were Adidas, Nike or other brand jersey templates and then you could edit it to fit it with your team style.
                        Could also add old stadiums too, even a few generic ones.

                        3) Add more challenges with restrictions in the Fantasy Showdowns so there could be some strategy while building teams. For example to play against the Draft Class squad you need to have at least three starters from the same Draft Class (example Kyrie Irving, Kawhi Leonard and Klay Thompson from 2011), against a team that plays on Christmas you need to have two players from the teams who plays on Christmas and use one of the Christmas jerseys, in a Northwest showdown all your starters need to be from that division, etc. This would some strategy and more of a challenge to play those besides that would make users try more players and maybe they discover some that they’d like to keep later.

                        4) Have different difficulty barriers to some different Fantasy Showdowns.

                        5) Add consumables to the mode. These could be Training (give a small boost in certain category to a player for a limited quantity of games), Fitness (energy recovery to fatigued players after playing so many minutes, could help to make users play their bench instead of making their starters play all game), Healing (heal an injured player in a certain area like upper or lower body), Position Modifier (change a players secondary position to primary).

                        6) Add more legends and add special editions of current players for instance Tim Duncan 97-98 Rookie of the Year, Kevin Garnett 03-04 MVP, Kobe Bryant 05-06 Scoring Champion, Dwyane Wade from 08-09, etc with their likeness from those years.

                          I like some of these suggestions alot.

                          The chemistry one where you have to line up the players in their correct spots is brilliant. But first ea needs to have secondary position. Joe Johnson plays sf a lot for the real life nets yet if we used your idea, I would get penalized for doing that in this game. (Im Not coming at you btw) but I do agree this would cause more planning.

                          But I Faced A Guy Who Literally Had dirk as his pg. I would hope that dirk would get a ratings nerf in a perfect game for this so we can avoid the cheese like in 2k my team. (Lebron, pg13, melo, Durant , howard) line ups. That's just cheese.

                            I was thinking about the positions like FIFA but you're right, many players in the NBA play in two positions constantly so it wouldn't make much sense penalizing a secondary position; I just want to avoid the get the very best mentality and craziness like the Dirk at PG you mentioned. I hope EA goes to this route and adds strategy to the mode, it'd make it more varied, fun and would help finding hidden gems in players one wouldn't think in using.

                              The awards for some of these challenges are highly laughable. You go thru hell and back in some of the challenges. And you get with all do respect, crap.
