    I play Superstar/User shot timing
I personally have not reviewed the attributes, so it would be nice to hear a confirmation update frome Schwall in this regard. However, I must say that if he (or anyone in the gameplay department for that matter) has not applied any changes within the past week I would be SHOCKED!

By the way, there was an update to the game today ( the dialog box that shows "Updating Game or something to that effect). Immediately after receiving this update i proceeded to play today's Matchup between the Cavs and the Thunder. Some quick notes about the game and observations on various improvements.

    1. Witnessed a good amount of mid range shots by Ibaka, Durant, Jackson, and Westbrook.
    2. Witnessed Ibaka shooting a few threes as in real life.
    3. Witnessed Durant and Westbrook pulling of some amazing moves off ISO's and screens. For example, spins coupled with mid air adjustments and great mis-directing body contortions.
    4. Witnessed kick outs off screens typically to cpu teammates normally camped at perimeter.
    5. Witnessed ALOT more missed layups by both user and cpu when contested.
    6. Witnessed my user controlled Shawn Marion hit a mid range shot that was semi contested. Then a few plays later hitting a 3 pt shot. There is absolutely NO way I could achieve this with Marion before these game adjustments considering his awkward and difficult shot release.
    7. Witnessed the cpu making the correct end game decisions! This is huge folks. I have actually been observing this for the past 2 to 3 days, however, the only issue I saw at the time was that if the cpu player was not open at the 3 pt line they would attempt to cycle the ball and sometimes try to draw you in with a post play/player before kicking out to the player at the 3 pt line. The problem is this sequence would take too long, indicating no sense of urgency, and by then precious time would have elapsed! Today, the passes were quick and more decisive. For example they went for a quick 2 pt shot then 2 quick 3 pt shots on ensuing plays! ( we'll see if this trend with being more decisive continues)

I have to say the game was very engaging. Won by 5 pts! They have managed to find ways to tighten the defense while maintainig a "free flowing" game on offense. The fg %s are realistic and the games are still quite challenging. This game was played in exhibition mode. I recall that season or career games are even more challenging. Really impressed with what I'm experiencing with this game!

I also played today's match up and didn't see the Thunder do ANY of that. I did witness the Thunder leave a Cavs player wide open every possession though at the 3pt line It was CRAZY !!!!! I was raining 3's all game because of that earlier. Every posession I was thinking why the hell is JR Smith and LeBron unguarded at the 3pt line ?

Going to play that match up again to make sure it wasn't a fluke.

Nope, not a fluke. Was raining 3's all day with the Cavs because the Thunder were leaving my guys wide open. Kyrie was 10 for 11 from 3. Cavs are gods in NBA Live 15 If they didn't constantly left a guy wide open every possession I wouldn't even took so many 3's but they were WIDE OPEN so I kept saying why the hell not.....

I will pay closer attention to the wide open 3 pt issue next game I play. I have noticed something like this in the past and believe I forwarded this finding to them. Didn't make sense. Cavs are Godly in this game no doubt!

For reference, I'm using a PS4, 6 min qtrs, Superstar level, Ratings and user shooting, default coaching settings ( as opposed to Tomba's or my own modified settings), Baseline Low or EA Action camera.

I do find that Ratings only shooting is off! Something happened to this shooting option post patch. I will admit I haven't used it for the past 2 weeks or so. Try the other shooting option for testing purposes and let us know if you can hit those long/mid range shots. If so, I'd say Ratings only shooting needs to be tweaked!

Btw, I also play with the Wizards and also have good success with them in regards to shooting. I will attempt playing with another team I'm not too familiar and test for results. Will report back later.

In regards to the mid range game, etc, cutting off penetration forced the cpu to take these shots, however, I also witnessed the cpu take that shot by design. Have you or anyone paid any attention to the late game tendencies as of late? What are your findings? I've been quite surprised with this one.

That's ridiculous. No adjustments from the AI when you are hitting like that is not a good sign.

So I don't know if the head programmer is a Cavs fan or something but my goodness they are hands down the best team in the game. You can hit any shot from anywhere with the Cavs, they are IMO the only team in the game I can say that. All the other teams and players I noticed their scoring is too spot on the floor specific. Where as if a player is known for hitting a shot from the baseline, you can only hit it from the baseline. If you try to hit a mid range jumper from the front with them, they will miss all the time for some dumb reason.

I also noticed since this last update, a hell of a lot blocks in the paint by the CPU and charging goes on but most of the charges don't get called. I literally have CPU players run me over at the 3pt line when they decide to drive to the hole and then run over another player at the free throw line and no charge get called, ALL IN THE SAME PLAY.

Another head scratch-er is the fact I play with ratings only shooting because I like ratings to matter in my sports games. Therefore if a person is rating in the mid 80s for shooting, they should be able to hit wide open shots from said range. To me this one of the biggest differences between Live 15 and 2K15. In 2K15 if a player is rated high in shooting, you can hit that shot if you are wide open majority of the time if you are wide open and if you are guarded, STILL HIT THE SHOT if the player is rated high enough most of the time from any spot on the court within their shooting range.

But like I said before, EA is probably full steam ahead on Live 16, so I will just make due with the current state of Live 15, however IMO they dropped the ball big time with this game. Could have been so much better.
They may have but I'm still hoping for a proper title update. I think a lot of gamers will factor post release support of this title into whether they purchase Live 16. I know I am.

If you think the Cav's are good now, you should've seen them pre patch. That Irving straightaway 3 was AUTOMATIC, lol

It still is. Add that with JR Smith, LeBron, Marion and Shumpert hitting 3's from the wings, they are deadly. The only one I couldn't hit a 3 with was Mike Miller and Kevin Love.
