Those That Like to Import Players From March Madness

One of the things that I loved about NBA Live 2004 was that I could finally import players from March Madness as I could with importing players to Madden from NCAA Football. However, after reading the impressions thread I have 2 questions.

1. Will we still be able to import players from March Madness?

2. I read in the impressions thread that one of the new features added to Live 05 was that we can scout rookies during that will be in that year draft during the regular season. So my question is for those of us that like to import players from March Madness. Will we have to play a full season of March Madness first and then import the players at the beginning of a dynasty on NBA Live?

The answer I've seen to both of those questions is we don't know yet.

My guess is that perhaps we'll have an option to scout draft picks during the season. But, I'm just assuming.

Yes, you can still import players from MM. As for your second question i don't know.

Yes, you can still import players from MM. As for your second question i don't know.

they were alright, but my players kept on coming in weird. a couple black guys turned white, guys with hair became bald... its just really annoying cause you can't change it back either

Yeah and hopefully the mm recruits arent all fat this year!

I'd assume it'd be the same. You play your 04-05 season in MM then import the draft class into the 05 draft. You probably have to do that with every year.

I'd assume it'd be the same. You play your 04-05 season in MM then import the draft class into the 05 draft. You probably have to do that with every year.

Well the reason that I asked these two questions in the first place. Is because I like playing a season in my college hoops dynasty and a season in my NBA dynasty simultaneously and at the end of the college season export a draft class to the pro game. Then at the end of the season of the pro game importing the draft class from the college game. You, know like with NCAA Football and Madden.

I was just concerned that now that you can scout rookies during the season we wouldn't be able to do this anymore. That we would have to play a season of March Madness, export the draft class at the end of that season, and only from the beginning of a dynasty on NBA Live is when we would be able to import a draft class from MM. If it's still like it was in Live 04 were you would import the draft class at the end of a season. We'll pretty much be scouting a computer generated player during the season. Then a different player from the March Madness draft class during the off-season before the draft. I could deal with this as long as I'm able to play my college hoop dynasty and my NBA dynasty side by side.
