Rebounds?

I just have one question about this game. Have they fixed the rebounding problems? I think that was and has been the biggest flaw with NBA Live. Sorry if this has already been discussed.

Probably, but time will tell if they went overboard and the new tip-ins drop more often than a regular rebound catch. There may be no need for offensive rebounds if you can tip them in at will.
I'm surprised someone is asking about the real game and not talking about the all star and dunk comp...

i really hope they didn't go overboard with the tip ins. i just read the Summit thread and never really got the answers that I was looking for. The guys must not have had the same problems with Live '04 that I did. I can understand that they where probably not thinking clearly with everything going on.

i really expect this to be EA's best basketball effort to date. I was pleasantly suprised with '04. I really couldn't care less about the dunk contest, etc., I just want great gameplay with a glitch free dynasty mode and I will be happy.

1 thing that looks troublesome to me is every tip in attempt i have seen goes in. i hope it is not an automatic made shot on every one.

Nah I doubt it, they obviously want to show the made shots in their video's. But I do have a feeling after a few days or weeks playing, the amount made will annoy us. Game company's are known for fixing one thing and breaking another. Or Adding a new feature which isn't quite right. Then when they fix it the next year, another new feature isn't quite right itself.
Hopefully I am wrong with Live. I just want a good game to play

Nah I doubt it, they obviously want to show the made shots in their video's. But I do have a feeling after a few days or weeks playing, the amount made will annoy us. Game company's are known for fixing one thing and breaking another. Or Adding a new feature which isn't quite right. Then when they fix it the next year, another new feature isn't quite right itself.

I think I heard somewhere the rebounding has been fixed, and you actually have to box out to even get a rebound now. On one of the vids at the end it showed one of the guys grabbing a rebound also. Deuce should be able to help us more on that though.

I can't remember where I read it at, but it is not overdone. It says to tip in the ball, you have to be in great position, and time it right.

I like the fact that you can choose to tip, tip dunk, or just grab the board. That is awesome.
