Re: My 2 hours with Live 16
I thought defensive footwork was decent. but they said they are tuning it. it's pretty responsive and I saw maybe 4-6 new animations for cut off moves/posturing/hand placement. using angles and using a combo of when to lock on and using the default positioning is a nice change of mentality for me. I never felt like an animation took me out of position or that i was limited by the control. its gonna be interesting to see if they add to it like they said.Comment

Re: My 2 hours with Live 16
I felt more like Steph Curry here than on 2k. mostly based on the ball handling and ability to pull shots off based on the space the dribbling created without having to have completely crossed the defender. Hope that made sense.Last edited by magiclakers32; 06-17-2015, 03:48 AM.Comment

Re: My 2 hours with Live 16
sidenote: pre loading the passes to "touch pass" the ball around the perimeter was nice. takes some practice for sure. And to see some of defensive animations while trying to steal those passes was pretty nice to see as a counter.Comment

Re: My 2 hours with Live 16
Good stuff, thanks for the insight!
- How was presentation? Is Mark Jackson in the game as a commentator?
- Replays after big buckets/fouls?
- Did players still just blow by three players in the lane?
- Was it actually possible to make some spot up/mid range shots?
- How did the improved screen system feel?Detroit Basketball.Comment

Re: My 2 hours with Live 16
absolutely able to chain together some of those type moves. using curry and kyrie there was definite advantages to the dribbling moves I could pull off versus using lebron or klay or even jr smith. Pretty slick. Reading and reacting instead of just necessarily counting on knowing which sets of animations were gonna kick in was a treat.
1. Was there any type of signature style coming in with the freestyle dribbling? Like did a crossover with Kyrie look different than the same thing with Curry? Were you able to do player-specific moves, like the Shamgod, on command?
2. Did you play against the CPU? If so, how was the AI? Did they run good sets, or did they feed the post most of the time? What about PIP?Comment

-no replays available
-NO! much much better recognition and seems that the different system of animation triggers has changed this dynamic. Lots more contest animations and closeouts .
-Yes! Absolutely killed pull up game with Klay and Curry.
-Screen system was really intuitive. thought this was/could be too effective though. but at least there are supposed to be slidersComment

- Did you get realistic stats overall?
- did you or the AI (given you played against AI) make huge runs/comebacks?

Re: My 2 hours with Live 16
Two questions:
What about PIP?
2. Cpu. Well only the 2 teams available. So playing a game against each team there was definite improvement overall to the ai. Especially the movement and decisions. The obvious change in play style was obvious as well. to see gs hit jumpers in bunches was impressive. And lebron to hit jumper/fades out of the post and mosgov be big was very cool. I was only able to move the game up to All star I believe tho. Default was pro. And there were only a few options that were not grayed out.Comment

Re: My 2 hours with Live 16
every make was defintely not a swish. didn't seem like many different outcomes though. Swish. Bounce on the rim 2/3 times or miss. saw a couple things that I wasn't sure if was buggy or not. Like a line drive shot that hit the back of the rim really hard . i mean like CLANK but went in. And one time it hit the rim. and then bounced straight up and went in. ???Comment

Re: My 2 hours with Live 16
cant really tell you in comparison to last game. I really couldn't play last years game long enough to remember those details. I thought stephs shot was just kinda ok from a sig pov. But didn't bother me to make an issue of it. I still think it lacks in overall sig appeal. But I think thats somewhat to be expected.Comment

Re: My 2 hours with Live 16
Couple questions.
1. Can you manual bounce pass?
2. If you did any work in the post, do the post fadeaways have shot feedback?
3. Is there moving screen fouls/ over the back fouls?
4. Can you do floaters?
