NBA Live 16 Features Improved Lighting and Visuals - New Screenshots

The NBA Live 16 team posted a new blog today detailing the improved lighting and visuals in the game. As seen in the screenshots, the improvements are very noticeable. Not only are player faces scanned, they have also scanned jerseys, shoes, socks, environments and much more.

While it's great to see more player faces in the game, the team has also added many facial expressions. Whether the player is happy, upset, excited or maybe showing off the occasional mean mug, it will be on display without the zombie look in their eyes.

The lighting system has been completely overhauled, thanks to color corrections made across the board on nearly every asset in the game. They have also improved the jersey colors, skin tones and sweat effects. More details on the improved lighting and visuals are scheduled to arrive in the coming weeks.

I'm looking forward to A Davis too, he was awful last year....the screens look good though...

I hope there's a option to turn off post basket cuts as well...

Man, even these screenshots look better than what they released earlier this year.

I'm curious to see the difference in the build that they showed at E3, to the one that they will potentially show at Gamescon.

Well they did the build was old.

Someone said they played the game and he doesn't think they brought an old build to e3.

            Hope they update Wiggins hairstyle.

Things can change day to day, drastically. Lighting, jerseys, faces are improved from build to build. Pretty crazy process to see.

I'm still not a fan of Wiggins scan, but everyone else looks on point.

Color palette looks more true to life this year. I'm also a big fan of the sweat in the screens.

This is the category that I feel Live has the other game beat in as of now, the colors and lighting in Live looks great and its still early, hopefully this will make the other game bring more focus to things like lighting and correct colors.

Ya I've never been a fan of the Wiggins face scan either. All of them look amazing imo. All I wanted graphics wise from this years game was for it to have bright colours like live 10 did. New lightning really makes the colours pop and I love it! Can't wait to see more screens.

wondering how does players model look in NBA 2k16 with full body scans compare to this ? those players model look very good on above. i don't think gameplay gonna be great in NBA live 16. i am huge fan of NBA 2k series since i was playing NBA 2k4 for first time on ps2
