to tell u the truth.....after seeing the newest nba 2k clip with the new "tv" camera angle. This game REALLY needs to be upgraded graphically.
I'm not judging gameplay here...just graphics.

EA wont compete with VC on graphics plain and simple, and the end result that will keep you pleased is the gameplay. With that, these dudes at gamespot don't know how to play. They are slooopyy. -

NBA live is going down the drain this year. The graphics and their gameplay pale in comparison to NBA2k5. I used to be a nbalive loyalist but I had to convert to nba2k last year when live just went downhill. NBA2k5 will be the best bball game ever made. remember that. NBA live needs to overhaul the whole production team, just fire all of them.Comment

I wouldn't go as far as saying that Live is going down the drain. But gameplay aside....those weak...WEAK graphics also take away some of the realism to the game.
IMO the game will be that much more "realistic" with better graphics. And honestly comparing live to 2k right now is like comparing ps1 to ps2. I really think it's that bad.

I can't really make a judgement on the video since it was hard to see, but I'm sure Live won't dissapoint. I still play Live 2004 to this day, mainly because of all the patches for it (PC version).Comment

Wait till you see the game before you say that. BTW the new dunk contest vid is pretty cool, and the atmosphere of the 3pt contest seems pretty cool too. The gameplay shows me nothing I'm looking for, maybe an official EA release would be great.
The new dunk contest clearly shows the short arms arent anything like those screenshots.Comment
