Hey Rawdog got one question...

In the game(s) you played did you notice some kind of unrealistic cpu comebacks ?
That was annoying big time last year
Like when the CPU is behind he will even nail in-your-face 3 pointers.

Anything you noticed ?

Actually no I did not notice this, only because I was getting blown out in the games I played VS the CPU... But against human's I did not notice any unrealistic comebacks..

How am I a fanboy? I've been buying both games forever (and Inside Drive too), and I'm just glad that I can get them both cheaper this year. Just the fact that you said the ESPN series SUCKED, that's a fanboy comment if I ever heard one. ESPN did take a step back last year, but NBA 2K2 simply was the best basketball game ever made back then. So to just say the ESPN series sucks is being a major fanboy. BTW, I'm glad they're both around, it drives each company to improve each year. And, yeah, Live did glide like crazy last year, and still does a little this year. Can't see it through fanboy eyes though.

end of conversation... I started this thread to speak about "My" experience with Live 05, now I have people calling me a fanboy, and saying that I am not credible because I never paid attention to the sliding in Live 04....

Give it a rest guys.. If you don't want to know something about my experience playing live then don't post in this topic... I should have posted this in the Live series center forums, at least I wouldn't have to worry about these immature Fanboy arguments...

All three series are/were good (Live, Inside Drive, ESPN), and all of them drives each other to making better games (well, not Inside Drive anymore, RIP), so its all good. Maybe if you were talking about a game like Konami's, you can say it sucks, but you cannot even mention that about Live, ESPN, or Inside Drive.

I have been a loyal 2K fan and i am still play NBA 2K2 on Dreamcast.

I had all of them except the 02 Inside Drive.

2002: NBA 2k2 (my favorite of all time) - NBA Live didnt even deserve to mentione din the same breath as NBA 2K2.

2003: ID 2003 / Live03/2k3 - 2k3 sucked because it had no post game

2004: Live 04 / ID 2004/ Sk4 - 2k4 had a post game. but the dunks were repetitive and awful. Karl Malone could dunk from the free throw line. Richard Jefferson always does a Between the legs dunk in traffic. that's NOT REALISTIC.
