There's always going to be guys who have their preferences, and that's cool. But to come into a thread in the subforum for the opposite title is just flat out trolling.

Very soon it's going to be moreso based on personal preference than modes, etc, as there will be more of an even footing. Maybe not this year, but that time is coming quicker than you'd think. To me, that's an awesome thing. Heck, I miss the days of 2003-2005 changing discs in the xbox with all 3 NBA titles, giving all 3 equal run. That was a glorious time to be a bball gamer. Then throwing in Konami ESPN Basketball, and that was the cherry on top.

Truth be told, I'll still be able to play and enjoy both titles again this yr. Healthy competition means we win as consumers.

Agree WTF....2010 was a heck of a year with two quality bball games...I just want Live to finish strongly by keeping in touch with the community after their strong starts!

BTW, did the Live team actually say they were making an announcement on a certain day or was it assumed? If not NBD, I can wait. If so, they gotta stop doing that...I know things happen, but they're repeat offenders, lol

When are excuses going to stop for this game? I'm not here to troll, but to call a spade a spade. This game is managed poorly and that E3 demo was not impressive because those animations were not best in class. It seems as if Sean O Brien has no say in the game he manages because whenever he says they are going to release something at a specific date, it never comes to fruition. They need better management and better animations if they want the consumer base to ever take them serious. I want Live to succeed and see two worthy games on the market that benefits us all, but Live needs to stop taking baby steps for this game to flourish. They have had enough time to come with a vision on how to create a successful game, so the excuses need to to stop. Its time for them to put up!

K, considering the grand total of 7 seconds of gameplay in 2K's eagerly anticipated 'Beyond the Shadows' trailer is receiving an underwhelming response ... EA, whatchu got for us???????????

Thanks for clarifying. Sucks it didn't happen....the bigger the delay, the bigger the anticipation....we'll see what they have for us hopefully soon...

It is like they have no professional PR team and staff members just speak before knowing whether stuff can actually be done.

EA recently did this with Madden 16, too. Back on a Monday in July i think, they promised everyone that a presentation reveal was coming "this week". End of the week comes, and nothing. They finally revealed like on Tuesday of the following week.

I know it's just information and not an actual product, but still, stick to your word. Especially NBA Live, you've been in the doghouse for many many years now -- if you want to get back into the good graces of fans, you can't make promises and then not deliver on them ... particularly stuff like when Ryan Santos said in an interview last month that they will be adding new signature animations during the season as they notice them in real life. I was excited to hear this, until someone said they promised the same thing last year. Be true to your word.
