Will bballs morphing thru players on passes ever be addressed?

I think this is what keeps this game imbalanced. Good teams with players that can pass the ball well are benefited by having the passes morph thru heads, shoulders, knees and toes to complete the pass. Can you imagine the out cry if in Fifa passes went thru players legs and feet to get to the other offensive players? This and scoring in the paint like you are alone in the gym makes me sad.. Alas , I digress. Bball games have been made since 1982 and I dont think this will ever be addressed.. I would be pleased with 50 turnovers a game because I didn't play smart ball.

By all means Live 15 isn't perfect but to see how they are trying to get rid of morphing is what make me like the game. You can actually see things that happen in the game physics wise if you pay attention to things that happen in the paint and if EA Keep adding to it the days of morphing could be gone sooner than we think. https://youtu.be/t2drZrfBIAc Physics need to be applied all over the game and to every part of the body and hopefully EA can deliver on this in 16.

Here is a longer video showing off how the physics work at times https://youtu.be/PoIK6hrNfC0

It still happens a lot in heavily guarded P&R situations...

I don't know though man, it's going to be a difficult thing to completely get rid of....especially in basketball games...

Seems like alot of the morphing in NBA Live is due to a lack of animations. Throw in some wrap around passes and more situational animations like picking up a loose ball or urgently tapping a free ball to gain control would fix most of the wonky stuff. Will it be addressed? Live 16 will show. Can it be addressed? Absolutely.

It's an ideology issue and not a technology one. I doubt either developer wants to alienate their casual fan base. Not many people would like to lose the ball on ever possession because they want to dunk or score on ever play.

As for as the collision detection issues go, that can be fixed but developers would rather spend processing power on graphics rather than constantly checking 10 players to see if any collisions happened. What is the first thing that people talk about when looking at games? Visuals. I doubt we will see either developer truly address the issue.

I agree it exists in Live and for sure would love it to be fixed.

But for the record is 10x worse in the competition.

A bit of an exaggeration, Honestly if we did an experiment and ran 10 pick and rolls in a row in each game right now....the most instances of morphing would come from the game forum we're in...

Now if we're looking at instances like the ones in the video Jay Jay posted (in the air ball tracking/blocking) it'd be be opposite. Live has done a great job there...a really good job...

Yea it still happen a lot because the physics turn on only in the paint and on jumpshots if I'm correct. If they release physics through out the whole game it will be a thing of beauty.

Because games in general are limited in their scope of animation, there's always going to have to be little cheats to make the games playable. This is one.

This is bad in every sim basketball game I've played its annoying because I feel cheated out of steals and blocks accurately
