I don't think I agree. I've never gotten comfortable with the shot stick implementation of the other game. The inputs don't always do what you expect them to do and some of them are very awkward outside of the baseline camera views.
What gameplay improvements are you looking forward to in Live '16?

I think Live should stay with the button format...that's just, NBA Live...I'm just glad they got rid of the dunk button\ shoot button layout from back in the day...lol
Only thing I would say about shooting with the button is they need clean up the release windows. They improved upon it after the last patch, but despite how good a lot of the J's looked, the majority of them felt too fast for me. Online a lot of them were pretty much button flicks to get a good release. A solid press "feels" more like shooting to me.Comment

This is a reminder to you to ask me about this once I can talk about gameplay more in-depth

Probably shot feedback. The only decent thing in NBA Live 07 was shot feedback. You could release early and the player would release early, perfect, and late and you could see that. The player would quickly shoot or flick the ball or push the ball and adjust their legs if they released late. It's a subtle visual quirk, but it goes a long way. Going to try to find a video to show what I mean.Comment

Ok guys, I got your point but in my book it is the other way around, I hate shooting with a flat button, so a good feature for the future (IMO) it would be (at least) giving us the option to decide (with some different gamepad configurations for instance)...
I do love shooting with the stick but I also respect others which doesn't, at the end of the day it can not be way too difficult to make everyone happy in that aspect.
Cheers! ;-)Ignorance is Bliss...Comment
