Releasing a free "full" demo on 9/15 is a great idea to get everyone to at least give them another shot.

Because the game comes out in 30 days and we've yet to see any real gameplay of it, just more cutscenes and menu's of crap that no one cares about. Shoes, Tattoo's etc...

Everyone's primary focus is the gameplay, animations and overall look of the game in action.

These are the biggest concerns based off all previous Live games lacking on all levels..

Hyping up menus and create a player features is non-sense...and talking about online crap...Live has always been decent to good online...

People here want the obvious...(See the game 5 on 5 in motion)

And they released a intro and cut it right before gameplay (epic fail and an insult too their loyalist)

Its the same smoke and mirrors game again...

I just happen to see a post on twitter from EA regarding shoes.....AGAIN!

Yes Sneakers are a big part of a basketballer's life BUT, this is a video game. Explain some game modes, show some vids, explain why you left out editing again,show why this a good thing. SELL US ON THE GAME!

I mean live is not giving us nothing to talk about, like someone above said they dropped a screenshot of shoes again I mean they look really nice but no editing so meh, then 2k drop a tattoo video you can customize your tattoo, I for one am not really into 2k customization I think live does it better. But 2k is just giving people more to talk about am banking on live to do great but 2k just look better and better. Can't go wrong tho getting both.

Think everybody is just waiting on the DEMO to drop on the 15th. If the game holds up to the hype EA has dropped re: PRO-AM and Live Run, then surely will be far more busy in here!

There is really nothing to talk about. We have seen shoes, tattoos, more shoes, more tattoos, Pro-Am details with gameplay and just a Screenshots. No, I mean a lot of Screenshots....like a thousand screenshots. I think the Live team has showed their hand and don't have much more information to release. They said Dynasty wasn't tweaked and you can't edit rosters. That leaves us with speculation threads and with a weak fan base, it's hard to see threads coming left and right. They are putting all their eggs in one basket and I hope it works out for them. I really do. The Focus this year was Gameplay, Online Team play and better AI logic. We will see revamped Dynasty, EASBL, Roster Editing and better presentation next year. (I HOPE)

Of course, I can predict the weather and here is your weekly forecast the next three weeks.

This Week

I heard we are suposed to get raw video footage this week. I think that was mentioned in the Interview with the Live Stream Team. Not a major buzz, but something consistent for the later part of the week. 6/10 Hype

NEXT WEEK

We will see more threads next week featuring some really ugly faces (including my own mug) and we will see how accurate EA's face scan technology really is. I think there will be a lot of excitement for the app and a lot of questions about facial hair customization. 8/10 Hype

THE WEEK AFTER NEXT

We will get to dissect the demo and determine if we want to buy, rent, pre-order or say, "NO" to NBA LIVE 16. This is the week we have the game to ourselves and technically it's like having the actual game before release. 1/10th of a game if you really think about it. 6 playable teams which can be played in exhibition and Pro-Am with a level cap. I am really excited for Pro-Am. I know most of you are on the fence with their not being any Roster editing or lack of Dynasty Depth, but at least play the demo and voice your opinions guys. We can definitely expect replies to be in the hundreds for sure. 10/10 Hype

Good points Vic Viper. Agree totally on the hype levels also! Hoping the live team have put all their efforts into much improved gameplay this year. If thats done right then next step is roster editing etc. Brong on the 15th, oh and the 8th!

Excellent post Vic. Really looking forward to seeing the (hopefully uncut) gameplay. I think that's a major selling point, if it's good.

Not many are taking EA to be serious about their products. Best to sit back and wait. Actions will speak louder than words. We'll see.
