NBA LIVE 15 updates every time?

So I bought EA Access and I've been playing Live 15, but every time I boot up the game I have to wait about 5 minutes for the game to load/update.

Is this normal for live?

Every time I play it updates the 6/25/15 rosters along with 6 other data updates.

Is this just a problem on my end, or everyones?

I'm thinking maybe this is happening because I have a digital download and not a physical copy... idk.

Definitely on your end. I have a digital ps4 copy as well, but mine doesn't. It's possible it's saving in the system cache and continually gets deleted. Not sure.

Mine has done this many times as well. It's a bug with the game. I've checked the data on my system and it hadn't changed or been removed yet Live thinks it has to download every patch every damn time I turn the game on. (Physical copy here)

Xbox and it does this for me, especially if I don't play it for a day or two. Really annoying

I had that problem in 14, not in 15.

Hmmm, I see I'm not the only one having this issue. Well at least now I know that it's not my Xbox that's the problem.

After a few tests, I realized it doesn't happen every single time, but it does happen quite often. I'm not sure if it's because the cache was being cleared possibly after rebooting the Xbox or what... Oh well.

Just got the madden bundle with EA access and I'm getting this too. Atleast now when it does search 0 files are downloaded. I put my xbox to completely shut off instead of energy saving. Maybe that's why.

It shouldn't matter either way. It's a bug and EA need to iron this out.

I've had this problem with 14 and 15. It's very annoying...
