I haven't played a Live game since NBA Live 2000, but I will be giving the demo a shot this year.

I like the direction they're headed and want to give them a fair shake instead of just blindly writing them off.

If the product put lives up to people expectation, live will get new people... However for me, there's now way possible i would even consider buying this game for retail price. $20-25 dollars max is my limit for it. Its fun, but certain areas kill it for me. Black Friday or January pick up for me for sure.

Han't played Live since the early 2000's and will give the demo a try. If I like it i'll buy the full game if not i'll stick with just 2K.

I loved Live until 2006.. Definitely giving Live a chance to see what they have improved on..

Once my Xbox One gets here its game time to see the demo..

I think it shows that people are willing to give Live a chance. A few days ago there were over 200 people viewing it. At the end of the day, though, it's up the product to sway people. They have people's attention now.

Always loved Live but my favorite is 2K. Had a lot of fun with Live 10 but I was disappointed with the product after that and just fell back from it. I don't know if I'm buying Live this year but the demo is downloading right now as I'm typing this.

Before everyone renders their final verdicts, at least get the game in your hands and learn all its intricacies. Apply slider adjustments to alter the game to your playing style and desires. Also of most importance, make sure to apply the Day 1 patch to address several of the issues that currently exist. Once.you've exercised these steps, it would then make more sense to give the game a more well informed and hopefully fair grade.

Also of most importance, make sure to apply the Day 1 patch to address several of the issues that currently exist. Once.you've exercised these steps, it would then make more sense to give the game a more well informed and hopefully fair grade.

The day 1 patch isn't complete yet. It'll be up when the game ships, but it does make a HUGE difference with the animation fidelity, some glitches, inside play, etc.

Honestly, though, it should not come with those caveats. This is a demo. Play it and see if it warrants a purchase. That's it. The final product will not differ a great deal from it even with all that. People will play it, and they will judge it.

I completely understand your angle. The reason for stressing the Day 1 patch is simply due to the fact that a lot of the "deal breakers" outlined by many are most likely addressed in that patch. For now, in the absence of that patch at the very least we should all apply the slider adjustments as needed.

I get what you're saying, and it's fair. If the game is going to be judged it should be the fully realized "demo".
