    Live can't even hold a steady 60fps

How ridiculous is it that a game that isn't even graphically intensive can't hold a steady 60fps. Anyone remember in Live 14 when the framerate would drop at be stuck at 30fps in baseline low camera angle ??

Well now in 16 even in the normal camera angles there are noticeable drops and hitches, and that smooth constant 60fps gameplay just isn't there.

There is no excuses whatsoever for this even on Live 14 let alone Live 16.... all everyone wants to talk about on forums is issues like game features and animations, etc.... I understand that, but the core issue is the gameplay is it not, and what is the core reason the gameplay blows ?
I said in my other thread it's this ancient early 2000's era game engine they use and will continue to use as long as we continue sucking it up...

Let me ask you all a question, how would you feel seeing the same old glitches and animations you saw in Live 2005 on your brand new Playstation 5 or Xbox720 in year 2020.... because as long as we remain quiet on this issue, that's what we will get in a few years

So with that being said seeing that you have it does it run at a steady 60fps?

BoyShoot Yea and I think these are the only 2 threads I created in my whole existence here on OS, any other wiseguy comment you wanna swing my way I can shut down?

If you want to excuse this as being a demo, then tell me whats your/their excuse for having major Framerate issues with Live 14 where it was locked to 30fps in certain camera angles.... and also what's your excuse for the similar issues in Live 15???????? so why you think Live 16 will be much different, because EA said so ? even though what we have on our hands shows the truth

So although I'm just playing a full featured demo YES i can speak in confidence given the clear and indisputable history of the problem... you guys that really think it will be any different may have teh delusion

I never noticed any frame rate issues in Live 15, not gameplay wise at least.

Let us be honest here, there are many games this generation on the PS4 and Xbox One that can't hold 60FPS. So lets not imply this is the 1st game to not hold 60fps.

Try clearing your Xbox One cache by going into the network settings on Xbox. Then from network settings go to advanced. Once in advanced network settings go all the way down to Alternate MAC Address and select clear. By doing this it will clear and restart your Xbox in its entirety and has been proven to fix frame rate drops.

I would say for the most part, gameplay is 60fps. There are a few drops before inbounding and during transitions to cutscenes but gameplay is pretty steady.

Given the impressive textures, lighting, player models with animated faces and the fact that probably 90% of PS4/Xbone games are 30fps and less, you should appreciate what Live (and 2K) have achieved with their frame rates.

How and WHY am I supposed to be impressed that some ancient (in gaming terms) engine from the early 2000's era is barely running at 60fps in 2015 on PS4/XboxOne... are you guys serious ?

There's a handful of games that look much better than Live 16 that run flawlessly at 60fps, the competitor 2K for example, or the new Forza game and others....
And hey what about the fact that EA's own Fifa runs at a steady smooth flawless 60fps and it has MORE PLAYERS ON FIELD, than the 10 we see in Live, how bout dem apples...

discuss with comebacks if ye have any....
