I'm loving the new animations. The player models are on par or slightly above 2k16's. The new shooting meter is a nice addition and I like how it breaks down the percentage that the shot will go in once you release. But my God... The AI is unstoppable once it decides to drive in the paint. And it will do it a lot if it sees an ounce of daylight no matter how many bigs are clogging the lane. Eight times out of ten, it will be a dunk or a nifty layup, with the occasional block by your defender. Hopefully this can be tuned somehow.

Bruh, I feels you on this post. I played the demo and I think it was the third game at the Hoop Dome. And man, let me tell you. I played six games with the same four people and we lost all four games all because of Cory Joseph. This dude could not be stopped. AT ALL! There would be three dudes in the paint all contesting Cory Joseph's layups and he would splash that like it was nothing. Cory Joseph was playing like his name was Kobe Joseph. He had strength like LeBron James and range like Steph Curry. I was getting mad about it because he was getting to the hole WITH THE BIGGEST OF EASE! MY GOODNESS! The game is cool but if the AI wasn't so unstoppable, that'd be cool too.

The moment that NBA LIVE actually brings back the roster editor, which is three years behind for users to actually use might I add, people might actually be sort of happy with the game. IMO

Lot of discussion, still not seeing much in terms of impressions. I'd genuinely like to know what more people are thinking about this game.

To be honest, I dig the game. I own both 2K and NBA LIVE. The best part about NBA LIVE is the Pro-Am. To me, LIVE's Pro-Am is a lot better than 2K's.

I know for a fact that the demo absolutely killed some people's opinion about NBA LIVE 16. All the improper player renders, the gameplay, the whole nine. If you ask me, I wasn't worried about all of that. A demo is not perfect. The game is pretty dope to play.

We're doing our impressions on the show for tomorrow.

It's the best NBA Live of this generation by a wiiiiiiide margin. Without Dynasty improvements it will be limited, but it's nice to have a semi-viable option in this space. Been a while.

The point of the demo was to get people to buy the game,if the demo is flawed don't release it, but glad you guys are enjoying the full game after the patch.

The whole theme of the month was "just try the demo" though, lol

There have definitely been improvements though...that's for sure

So now the argument is EA has to let us try the full game free? This was the best sports demo ever in my opinion and in no way was it flawed. It just wasn't the full latest updated version of the game.

This was another bad decision...

I love playing the best matchups on any given night and once again this is not a option

I use my EA Access trial. Spent my first hour waiting for the patch to download while the 10 hour counter was trickling down. I went to career mode and ran into a glitch where the crowd noise was muted. The game felt very stiff to me. I think I will pass on NBA Live 16 for now. Maybe when it gets in the vault for free, i'll play it.

The Demo had some issues...

But i think if more people would have experimented with the sliders in the demo it would have made them give the game a honest chance.

Me personally as you know didn't like what i was seeing in videos...but then i spent quite a few hours editing the demo sliders and saw good potential out of the gameplay.

From what I've played so far this is really good...major step up from previous LIVE's. As we all know, there's no perfect game so... But I really think EA has done a great job this year's version.

after playing a few games and testing everything the way Tomba normally would(yes i sometimes refer to myself in the third person because i have to be out of my mind sometimes with the way i review these things! LOL)

that said,

The game is good. not great a great game is an 8 game a good game a 7.

I like many of you would love the opportunity to do my OWN ratings and my OWN player equip edits and THAT would score it much higher.

I liken it this way EASports got whoevers money today...lets hope they fufill on something within a patch we would like that they couldnt get in at launch to make us really happy instea dof just pleased...

cuz thats how i feel just pleased with it.

Do i have a Great slider set?

YUP

Did i figure out the coaching options for teams?

YUP

BUT

will my settings all go to the waste basket after another synergy update?

YUP

thats the problem these synergy updates REALLY mess with the settings we do and thats the most frustrating thing because ultimately it makes the game STILL a arcade experience frankly...

Synergy will ALWAYS boost a players skill at attempting something but it will boost it in a non human like way. its robotic method in which it just inputs a number value and then dictates into the animation trigger which is rushed

So today after the update it played...well?

Good?

Dont know what the next 7,237 updates thru synergy will do though cuz i tell ya before the updates the slider set i had was almost perfect and the synergy values Messed EM UP bad guys...

and that frustrates me...

So pissed my save file got corrupted during the update today and now my Pro-Am character got deleted. I had gotten so far with goals in the different pro-am courts that I don't even want to play the mode anymore. This really ruined my day smh.
