All of the above. The single player experience has to improve. I'm an offline only gamer, and I have expressed this many times, but editing, dynasty, and presentation have to improve drastically. Gameplay and tendencies need to continue to evolve. They're on the right track, but the single player game has to be there next year, and in a big way.

WTF I agree man I only play offline single player they definitely have to show offline single player gamers so love all we ask for is roster editing and player editing and bring back the play now option with match ups based on Actual nba schedule in play now

I truly believe that they have no choice but to give us these changes next year. Surely they know this is a necessity at this juncture especially if they desire to vault into major league status. They have made some very visible waves this year and its absolutely imperative that they capitalize on this momentum! We should expect nothing less.

Gameplay/animation's for me, and bring back the customization option. Let us be able to customize the game to our liking, from the player's to the camera angles. Come on EA you guys had this stuff before in your games and on much inferior hardware, so why not now with better tech? Smdh

Player movement and responsiveness is my main thing. I can tell there is something wrong with it. Sometimes when I try to move my player, the cpu defender will move first. Many animations have great response time and happen immediately when pressing the button or moving a thumb stick, so I know it isn't a core issue, but a design one. I don't want the animations speed to be increased. I want to see players react as quick as their professional counterparts, while still maintaining momentum, differentiated by players' sizes and abilities.

Improving that area should really improve the creative aspect of the game when freelancing or just reacting to situations in real time.

Specific team style. The Warriors and Heat don't play the same style in real life. They need teams to play like their real life counter parts. It's a must for all EA sports games. In Fifa all CPU teams play alike, in NHL all CPU teams play alike and same with Live. It's hella annoying seeing the Seattle Sounders play like Manchester United already. Now seeing the Heat play like the Warriors is even more of an eyesore.

The physics engine....as of now, it doesn't really have a consistent impact on the game...and I'm starting to believe that it can't after not seeing a huge leap these last two years....

Might be time to reexamine the system...

Individuality. The game is so gorgeous up close. If they could get these players shooting and dribbling/motioning like they do in real life with the same graphic quality it would be amazing.

My #1 was choice was editing partly because I doubt EA will ever get the animations up to the level we desire.

It's been like 10 years since they started making this game on the recent consoles and not a single year from Live 07-10 to Live 14-16 has the game rendered quality animations

While I agree there are far too many bad animations, there are also some amazing one's. The slow dribbles up the court are as lifelike as you're ever going to get, the off the ball cutting (my Iverson video in the video thread), tiptoeing down the baseline, a lot of the jumpshots etc.

It makes me think the brand new motion captures are responsible for that and it's all the old, legacy junk that has remained which are really letting the series down.

I don't think the animations are that bad. I think they get triggered during the wrong situations.

Some of it has to do with the delays in input response as well. When an animation happens a second or two after you press a button, there is a good chance it will no longer be relevant to the situation on the court. Playing the right animation at the right time will make them appear better because they will be in the right context, visually.

As I have said last 2 years, gameplay and animations. If I can spot the same animations that were used in NBA Elite I wont even consider this game. IMO an honest conversation must take place discussing two areas with this game. The animation engine and Synergy.

And add a seasons mode in LUT. You have it in h2h but not in LUT? atm LUT works better then h2h. Smh
