Next, we have the classic players and legends. Why lock them behind Ultimate Team? Throw them in a free agent pile, let us play with them at will and regular quick tip-off games.
The beautiful looking street and highschool courts. Again, why lock them behind online only modes, with limited camera views and settings and more no reply mode? The lighting is superb on the outdoor courts and again, EA would only be benefiting from free marketing via our screenshots/replays by letting us choose these courts in regular tip-off games.
edit: I have to say as well, for a series that hit such a low and is crawling it's way back to relevance, I also don't understand how good features (as small as they may be) have been removed between 15 and 16. The post up step back jumpshot and the size up moves for example. This series (and the other) have gone around in circles for 15 years, adding features, removing features then years later adding those said features and marketing them as new again. Live imo, simply cannot afford to do that at the moment.
With all the bad things the game has, it is really puzzling that the good things are so under used. Surely some of what is mentioned above can be simply patched into this current game. When you're struggling with sales and media attention, you'd think you would do everything you can do show off what's great about your own game.
