    Good features under used/marketed

I'll start by saying the quality of screens and clips I've been able to create myself already far outdo what the official EA one's have provided. There are amazing models and some great looking animations not shown off in media at all.

Next, we have the classic players and legends. Why lock them behind Ultimate Team? Throw them in a free agent pile, let us play with them at will and regular quick tip-off games.

The beautiful looking street and highschool courts. Again, why lock them behind online only modes, with limited camera views and settings and more no reply mode? The lighting is superb on the outdoor courts and again, EA would only be benefiting from free marketing via our screenshots/replays by letting us choose these courts in regular tip-off games.

edit: I have to say as well, for a series that hit such a low and is crawling it's way back to relevance, I also don't understand how good features (as small as they may be) have been removed between 15 and 16. The post up step back jumpshot and the size up moves for example. This series (and the other) have gone around in circles for 15 years, adding features, removing features then years later adding those said features and marketing them as new again. Live imo, simply cannot afford to do that at the moment.

With all the bad things the game has, it is really puzzling that the good things are so under used. Surely some of what is mentioned above can be simply patched into this current game. When you're struggling with sales and media attention, you'd think you would do everything you can do show off what's great about your own game.

They also removed manual floaters, bank shots, bounce pass, lob pass, lead pass, quick iso or post up play with the d pad... I don't get it either

Agreed on all counts and a topic I was pondering starting myself the other day. Since then, and to be fair, the size ups are in the game and triggered by moving the R stick left to right back and forth. They are no longer assigned to a button. There is also a new fade away jumper that can be performed in the paint, just haven't found a consistent way of performing it at this point.

However, the others are head scratching missed opportunities that can and should push this game forward when implemented properly. We all like the game and want to see it succeed so its painful to see something like this and remain silent.

I think those things and more go without saying, but I was talking specifically from 14 and 15.

I'd love to know what (if any) input the forum titled Game Changers had into 16.

The new size ups are disjointed compared to 15 and don't control anywhere near is simple or animate as smoothly unfortunately.

Have yet to see the paint fadeaway but would love to see a clip of it. Likewise the mysterious spin gather. I never saw it in 15 and still haven't seen it in 16. It makes no sense that the game says hold triangle then rotate the right stick. You need three hands to do that... (or be holding the controller like a praying mantis).

And yes the head scratching is spot on.

You can never be sure with this series now. How did the testers during development not pick up on some of these things and whack the devs over the head about it? I think EA Sports need to reach out to more players to get involved this year.

All of those were in live 14, and they've decided to remove them for some reason. Also there is no step back crossover

Hmm I don't remember 14 having manual bank or floater. I'll load it up again and check it out.

But yeah, the passing options were much better in 14.

              Yep...unbelievable really.

But, hey, the 15 foot hook shot every single big man does made it in.

Sizeups were a thing of beauty last year. Dang this game is more "organic" to me than any b ball game but the small things are missing

                  They really were!

That's the point I'm getting at. The game is on such a knife's edge with fans/haters, that they can't afford to remove things that were actually good in 14 and 15.

Who in the dev team is making those decisions?

I requested that the quick plays on D pad be brought back, and believe they will be.

The sizeups, apparently a lot of people wanted more control over them last year, so they switched it up this year. I'm not a fan of them this year.

This is what i was thinking when i played Nba live 16. Especially since they kind of are going up against 2k, who are known to have issues with their games and bugs, its frustrating to see Nba live have the same types of issues. Its like if you wanna step up and show people that your game is quality and the other's is low quality, make a solid game and dont do stuff that 2k would do.

I actually like having control of my moves this year. It reminds of Live 2005 this year a lot.
