Just scored a John Starks 93-94 off the PS4 market for 4k, he was all the way out at the backend of legend search.

Had 7 points in his debut for me. A layup, 10 foot jumper and a corner 3.

Awesome on ball defense too.

Nice. I used him big time in Live 15. He was a monster. Good snipe.

You being a mav's fan, do you have Mashburn in your squad or have you used him?

Trying to best figure out how to use him. Because he is an outside threat I usually flank him out, swing it to him and pump fake, if the CPU bites I attack the rim and either finish or dish it last second to worthy or gasol for a layup if they double mash.

This is a cool LUT touch I did not notice before.

Your players wear the number they wear IRL on your LUT team.

This does lead to some dupe number issues though. I have Duncan and Butler on the floor at the same time both wearing #21.

But overall, nice touch.

I loved Mash. Have not used him on 16. I was Lucky to Score Rookie Vince Carter(he is an animal). Have not had a use for another SF.

The AH is struggling.

Got a couple good buys earlier but anything I try to post up for sale still sits there expired.

I also have 17 items for sale but when I check selling with or without bids nothing is there and there are only 8 items in my sell pile.

9 items out there in EA UT server world, maybe, maybe not. They sure did take my coins when I bought them though!

So i had not finished all the rookie challenges. I had the last one left which is the finals challenge with the cavs then the warriors. Let me first say that i am not the best player but far from the worst. my record is 88-15 so i do not lose much.

If they want expect me to believe that this sweaty game was on rookie then they are crazy. I thought i was on all star or superstar difficulty they way the cavs were playing. on rookie difficulty i can score close to 60 points. i scored 32 in this game. my team has some great players on it.

anyone else notice any weird things like this? I was so stunned i had to go in the startup and check the difficulty.

Yep the difficulty is all over the place. I did the legends master challenge.
Total cpu cheesefest but the first two games took every bit of basketball videogaming skill I have just to battle to close wins over the cpu.

2nd game had me yelling obscenities at the tv the cpu was being so blatant about screwing me. You can only watch so many 2 foot jumpers and 80% + free throw shooters miss while watching the cpu make 3's while double teamed or space jam warping across the lane to steal rebounds from boxing out and leaping Rodman before your brain starts to melt.

But I won. It had me completely dreading the final game against the superhero legends but that was a 12 point easy win, went up early and just stayed ahead until the end. It was on all star but felt like pro lite.

There was a spud webb for 10k and an Iverson right next to him for 12k last night.

I compared them both then stared at both of them for a few minutes unable to decide.

I finally went with Webb because I don't see him on the AH often at all and he had 15 contracts compared to the Answers 4.

He starred in that last Legends game, he scored 8 from the floor and added in 6 FT's. I normally run the show with Eric Bledsoe and Webb was a close comparison, does not have the raw speed but shoots a touch better and has more "slinkiness" when attacking the lane.

I bet the AI card is great too. I will probably end up getting him as well.

Am I alone in this?

I started a case at EA Help because I bought a Penny Hardaway card and when I moved it to my franchise it disappeared. I got it Friday night and haven't seen it turn up since.

EA took my coins though. Or the seller. Somebody did.

EA first did not return my call even though they said they would call within 3 minutes. Today I call and the EA rep basically knows nothing but says he will escalate it, and (and he said this verbatim) if I am lying my account will be banned.

Now I have been playing ultimate team modes in all EA games since they came out. Why exactly would I choose this time to "lie" about getting a card? I mean he only costs like 25K in the store? Big deal.

I was taken aback but I told the guy well, I am not lying so escalate it.
That was around 9am this morning. No contact from EA but sitting here thinking about it...I closed the case. Not because I am wrong, but more because the last thing I want is for EA to go looking around and decide on their own that I didn't buy the card and ban me.

I like the cards I have currently and don't want to lose my account unjustly. This sucks though.

I will say any issues I have had about FIFA, EA help on the fifa side was always very nice.

This Live rep or EA help live rep was very rude. I hope they send out a questionnaire.

I didn't even get into this with them, the fact the market is broken and it's just about impossible to post any cards for sale because they all sit in your sell pile as expired. They go up, I think, but you can't see that you are selling anything and don't know how much time is left unless you chart all your sales and times on paper or some other way.

I mean I know for a fact I have 19 cards for sale but it only shows I have 11.

The LUT server is junk.

AND WARNING, I read this same thing happened in Live 15 and people were banned for reposting cards in their sell pile they didn't think they had posted.

EA records this as some sort of card duping scheme. So just be careful. It makes me nervous anytime I try to post something for sale, so points to EA I guess.

Again, this sucks.

Its all about out scoring the CPU, good defense is pretty much pointless because AI can and will shoot over any player. Just about had a win on gold challenge and then AI decided to jack up a 3 over Larry Birds face with less than 3 sec on the clock.

This is it exactly.

I go into the LUT games thinking ok I am going to play sound fundamental basketball. Then cornball CPU things happen, I mean honestly at this point when my player is wide open and the announcer goes "He is wide open!" my shooting percentage must be somewhere around 9%.

Yes, 9%. It's senseless. I play another mode and shoot fine. Why EA thinks the machinations of Ultimate Team difficulty need to work like this I will never know.

So again, I try to play real basketball and then the CPU makes me miss an easy open 6 footer I set up beautifully off a rub screen, or Mashburn and his 91 ovr 3 rating misses a wide open three when he spotted up and called for it, all while the CPU makes ridiculous shots fall...

So it breaks down to me just attacking the rim and dunking on them to win the game.

And I get it, not all shots go in, it's just the way they do and don't in LUT that is so frustrating, because outside of LUT the game does not behave like this.

I jumped out of LUT last night and played a rewind game and it was so much more balanced and fair.

And if EA is trying to "protect" the reward payout by employing this weird cheaty AI that makes no sense either because everyone is winning the prizes despite the AI shenanigans.

Simply amazing.

Best part is I have seen most of that in my games too, the missed calls, the my players forgetting what a loose ball means and how to pick the ball up if it is loose, miracle cpu shots, etc.

Watching my kid play a dynasty game while typing this and the gameplay differences are night and day.

Honestly, if I was a dev and played a mode of my game (lut) where it played like it does currently, I would be embarassed and I would be hell bent on going in the next day and trying to balance out the mode so it more closely resembled basketball.
