Late game AI is still an issue

AI consistently fouls down 3 with :30 plus seconds left.

On the next position, they aren't pressed to get a shot off at all....if it weren't for my AI teammate shooting the passing lane they probably would've run the shot clock down...that's what I usually see in these situations.

    Just did a quick capture:

I don't understand why they haven't corrected this. This is the 3rd version of NBA Live on this current generation of consoles, so it's unacceptable. You can literally have a great game down to the wire then this happens and ruin the entire experience.

It's a step up from not shooting at all.

Even though that still happens sometimes in shot clock situations...

Sucks that this is still around..

I was going to create a similar post. This area needs to be tightened for certain! It is better in some ways than Live 15 but still very concerning. I also pointed out to one of the game changers that one can exploit (this was present last year but to a lesser degree this year) the cpu defense during late game and the cpu is down. You can manually move your player from the backcourt into the opponents end of the court during an in bounds pass and throw a Hail Mary pass. You will usually be able to catch the pass and score. Your cpu defender will not be able to keep up. This year however, the cpu center will attempt to play defense so it's not a free lane as before. I am doing more testing but I believe as the contact or collision sliders have been raised, the cpu awareness on defense has improved in this regard. This is still something that should be addressed in a patch! There is so much potential here and fixing these problems will only make the game better.

You can honestly beat their press defense without even cheating to the back court...the PG can typically weave past everyone all the way to the rim when they go into a press

True full court pressure is just something that's hard to replicate in a NBA video game

              Yeah definitely an issue.

It's sad because they really hustle to foul you to try to give themselves a chance and will attempt quick shots but as soon as it get under 24 seconds, they lose their brain and either don't shoot or go for a two when down 3 or more.

And the full court press is a mess as well. It actually makes it almost automatic that you score, defeating the purpose of it.
