        Sliding is there, but IMHO it's been toned down. I'll still see it, but it isn't quite as obvious as it was last year. I mean, you definitely see it, don't get me wrong. It's just better this year. I'll get movie clips up over the weekend.

            What's the coolest new things that have jumped out at you Steve upon playing the game? In other words, what were the first things to make you smile upon playing the game?

            (I know it sounds like a stupid question, but I guess I just want to know what struck you as "new and cool" about 2005)

                is the fast break realistic?? last year if it was a 2-1, i'd pass it then the guy who made the pass just stands there, making it a 1-1 situation

                Can you literally posterize someone?? Last year i dont know if it was some collision detection problem or something you couldn't really shove one down in their grill, it'd look like your dunking on their chest.

                CAn the guy who actually takes a shot down low grab his own board?? Last year, the shooter's 2nd leap was so slow it'd never happen. Yea i dont expect some of the slower people, but Kenyon Martin can miss shots down low and grab his own board.

                finally, does the PG come back for the ball?? I"m tired of having to throw the ball 50 feet or bring it up with my PF just cuz the PG runs down the floor like there's no tomorrow after i get the rebound.

                THanks for any answers.

                    There are quite a few nice shooting anims this year. I've seen some off balance shots, players fading away and of course the "And 1" shots are a nice touch. I've seen a few of those that I needed to check the replay on a few times. I don't see signature shooting stances or free throw routines.

Sometimes rebounds will be coming off the rim, I jump and I completely miss it. Tip ins are really nicely done. You'll see some tip ins that miss the mark and if you don't box out and grab the board yourself, the AI will be a Dennis Rodman on you tipping the ball up to the rim.

                            I haven't played around much w/ the sliders other than the fatigue and speed sliders. It is definitely too quick on default and having players not tire at all is definitely arcady. Nothing that the sliders can't fix tho.

                            I'd say there are quite a few blocks, I need to adjust that slider as well.
