this game needs a fix/patch....now

Been trying to play for the last week....online pro am is becoming a gong show...guys dunking way to much...(which i knew it would become) . i mean i had a overall 76 on opposite team dunk on me and another guy on fastbreak , im overall 89 with defense upgraded...cant happen, loose balls are insane...passes are bouncing off team mates foreheads and going out of bounds...its just looking bad now...the offensive 3 seconds is really annoying and unrealistic.. i mean they gotta release something in the next week or 2...seriously ..or they just robbed us. cuase this game isnt worth 80 dollars. its worth 40. MAX... the cpu online is unfair and ruins games sometimes.. i have hope in this game..but its getting worse each week..hopefully something changes

hahaha i know ... this game looks worse each time im playing it.. its like harlem globe trotters games when im playing

I have an 89-overall Center (post scorer). While I do hope EA Sports keeps issuing patches to tweak rebounding, I don't think defense is as hard to play as you're making it out to be. As long as I position my center properly on the path of a slasher, I usually frustrate the slasher's drive/dunk and sometimes block it.

P.S. don't pay attention to the overall rating; pay more attention to the interplay between/among specific skill ratings.

For example, I could have an overall-89 center, but if I've only boosted up my dunk, inside scoring ratings but neglected my stength, post moves, and contested finishing ratings, I could still sometimes play poorly a defender with solid defensive and athletic skill ratings.

Overall rating only tells part of the story. Specific skill ratings really do matter.

it was a little kid spamming the mac just holding right trigger and x going to the hoop dunking like crazy..i know how to play Defense in the game..but sometimes it just seems to easy for a player to activate a dunk animation...

it also seems like when you play rising star or pro am, that the game sucks you into animations ALL the time, like just trying to move a little one way you will run away, sometimes online i feel like the more i move the worse it is...you touch the left stick for .5 of a second and your cutting all the way to the opposite corner,, they need to put more control of the player..not all these random animations and stuff

There is much poster dunking in Pro Am\Online H2H...in the game period TBH...it gets tiresome...

There just doesn't seem to be any regard for defense in the game...and defense is fun for me....so what fun factor was there is fading away...
