              ya, the ea developers said in an interview that all of all star weekend will be in franchise and season, but if u want to play in any of the events, a player(s) from your team must be invited to participate in that event

                      which isnt even hard. It looks like EA set a code for your players on your user team to automatically get invited into one or numerous events.

                      Dont be surprised if you have a guy in it EVERY year.
