Well, from the screenshots of the menus it looked like the game supported widescreen. But the gameplay screenshots and the movies all look like full frame. Is their any word on whether the gameplay is in 16:9 or not? Thanks.

The "other" game has 720 and 16:9 support FYI.

thanks. it stinks that there is no widescreen, but i'll live. I'll get that other game around November, so I'll enjoy it then.

I played the game and the stopping for the pass is not a problem... they never stop when you are running the fast break... but if you attempt long passes they stop..

When playing at the Madden Challenge I did not experience any slow down like there was is 2004...

That makes me really happy! Last year I just couldn't play 2004 on PS2 and XBOX. I tried Gamecube version on my friend's cube and there is no slow down in GC version, which i think should be the best console version.

I am going to get NBA Live 2005 and PSTWO(not PS2), that would be really cool..
