I saw at least 2 vids where the guy jumps off of either one or two feet to catch teh pass on the run for the break a way shot. It's much better than the moonwalking backwards catch and turn around in last years game. I just hope that stop to catch the ball isnt prevailant. I wonder if that is non exsistent if you dont hold down turbo.

            Nice thread KDRE.

Personally...his 'pros' far outweigh the 'cons'.

The things Steve lists as negatives...are probably 'fixable' via sliders, and not that a big a deal anyway.

The good things...spacing, double teams fixed, mid range game being back...are all great news and *vital* things.

            Looking good.

If ESPN has no season mode / no control over CPU trading...I'll be playing a full LIVE season.

If Steve reads this or anyone who knows...one thing I don't think anyone has asked...can we still 'switch user' and change the teams play sets?

Since Dre isn't here I'll do it for him.

Steve made a mistake on the fastbreaks passes not being led...they don't stop to catch the ball. He made a mistake. Here's what Steve had to say....It's in his impressions thread.

I said players stop on the fast break. Well, that is mostly the case when playing 2 players games w/ both players on the same team. Me and my stepson had multiple opportunities to run the fast break 2 on 1 only to see the player stop instead of being led the ball.

After playing more single player games, there aren't quite enough fast break opportunities, but when they did occur, they worked flawlessly.

Sorry for the wrong information, guess I was a little pissed about it last night when playing, lol.

                Update your thread KDRE.

Closing for now, getting movie clips now.

Hopefully when we get some vids we can see if their are any frame rate or "slow down" issues with this years game. That was my biggest gripe with the game last year!!

And thats why I weary of buying the xbox version.

Hopefully the videos can clear this up.

Thanks for updating for me Zig!! Thanks for the clarification Steve.

I'm actually intrigued that there arent as many fastbreaks because it slows Live down a bit if you know what I mean. It wont be fastbreakmania this year.

BTW Monkey I meant to say yesterday that the developer in the interview said something about the CPU teams already being set to the playsets they've given each team, but not the human teams so this will be very interesting. I wonder if that isnt available in the beta?

Did anybody hear what the framerate is like? I am becoming a little leary about this on xbox EA games.
