"NBA Live 16 was not ready to be released"

This guy 'Flight' is annoying...but he is also by FAR the biggest NBA Live supporter on social media / youtube. He was hyping the game big time before release.


He has now come out today and slammed the game as being "not ready for release". If you can stand listening to him, he makes a LOT of good points in this video:

Why is this relevant? Well, as stated, he is by far the biggest Live supporter on social media. 10 000 plus views already of his video / some of his videos get viewed by huge numbers.


His points about things with potential being neglected / 2K stealing the pro AM and then making it much deeper / LIVE devs ignoring so many things / rising star / no shoot around / lack of customization / lack of effort on simple things.


He is probably the one and only guy who may have enough influence to pressure the devs to get a big gameplay patch out for the game.

Yeah, they basically cannot afford to lose him. He is almost their only well known social media fan. 2K has an army of them.


Hopefully he can exert enough pressure to get a patch pushed out.

ehhh they have the NBA Steam team, but i still think flight has more power over them but yea. they still cant lose him tho.

Flight is a member of the EA Ronku sponsorship program. There are literally dozens of Youtubers and Twitch streamers part of that program. QJB, IpodKingCarter, Chris Smoove, Flight, Antaboss, Levelcap, MinnesotaBurns, Lady Insanity, Swiftor, GoldGlove, MrGoldenSports, Wyza, Shake4ndBake, AirXJones, ZombiUnicorn, Driftor, WhiteBoy7thst, MrHurricane, Cullenburger, and many more.

So yeah, once their contracted deadline for promoting the game has passed, they usually get more "honest" about the game or they just stop talking about the game completely. So really EA is no fear of losing Flight or any of them. EA Ronku is one of the highest paying sponsors out there.

Yeah you completely missed the memo.. People have been bashing Live for the past half decade for it not being ready day 1.

He isn't saying anything that hasn't been said 100 times in this board.

His Live 15 knowledge in his clips last year also left a lot to be desired so I don't know he'd really have much influence at all on anything EA does in the future.

Yes...but they don't even read this board, so essentially we are talking to ourselves


Even the 'gamechangers' here, as hard as WTF tried, were ignored. Will told them everything from here................and they ignored it.


They at least acknowledge Flight and his video has a lot of views already.

Four weeks on........and the lead developer has not even bothered to make a single 'tweet' or respond to anything on social media.


Sales are horrendously bad.


If the few of us who bought it just smile and stare at the moon, there is no chance of a gameplay patch...which it desperately needs.

Well, FLIGHT had enough influence to impact EA making your Pro Am player "pay to improve" ....so they obviously somewhat value his opinion....

He was all over the place here but had some fair points....Don't know why this is even considered bashing....dude has been overdoing it with the Live support if anything lol
