    Pro-am thread

Figured we need one to talk about this mode..

Starting to see more defense now that there are higher rated players. Having a big man out there is key.

For the rim protectors out there..I played against one where his stats were mostly in the 90's and he had a 90 3pt rating! Is there an XP glitch? It costs 125,000 for me as a post scorer for the 90 stat plus the XP to get there. I just don't see how that's possible.

Not sure why it's not capped at 60

Ya or make him reach 99ovr faster so that he can't upgrade other stats.
Actually what happens when you reach 99ovr? Can you still accumulate and use XP?

Well, as I understand, each position has different "key skills" which are cheaper than normal. For example, on the demo, I first made my player a SF, his dribbling skill was so expensive to upgrade.

I have re-made that character (reset all XP), and now I'm a PG and my dribbling skill is so cheap to upgrade as a "key skill".

That player with 90 3pt rating probably has it as his "key skill". If the player played the demo, and carried over the stats from the demo, they can easily be over 90 rating.

NBA Live is better than 2K in that aspect.

Those who pre-ordered 2K get 35,000 VC to spend on upgrading their player, and they can spend real $$$$$$ to get more VC to upgrade their player.

There is no way possible to pay to get XP on NBA Live.

If a player is over 90, then they earned it (also probably played from the demo and transferred over the player to full game).

What's your gamertag? Maybe we can team up someday. I'm kinda busy this week, got some friends visiting from overseas, but I should be able to get on in the later evenings.

I'm only like a 78 rating right now because I restarted my player, but send me a friend request sometime.

My tag is "Masta G X1"

iv played nba live 16 for a month now, and its just bad now. When i played the demo everything was even, and people werent able to do the unrealistic cheesy stuff...now thats all it is in the pro am, I played with a overall 77 Center, he dominated the game he was dribbling up the court not getting stripped, putting up all sorts of random shots in the paint and draining them... iv never seen a game struggle so much with balance than this basketball game.. the cpu is bad, the collision and clipping is border line alpha beta stages,.. i dont know what happend with this live but it is a fail, but hey. they still charged FULL PRICE for it..and made a decent amount of money for something they probably worked on for less than half a year..and i have a right to be angry i almost payed 100 dollars for this game..so sorry if i hurt your feelings cause your stilling trying to like the game..but im just being real...
