Because NBA Live 10 was my favorite game ever. Keep hoping for a repeat.

Just got the game, very pleased. Very pleased. I'm using it to play online ProAm mostly, and have been having a lot if fun.

Main thing that will make me keep putting this game in...game length.

2k it takes an hour+ to finish one game of ProAm. In 1hr 15min, in Live...I played 10 games. And I got the 'xp' for every game and every game counted on my record/leaderboard. It actually works.

NBA Live 16 is better in many ways than Live 10. Live 10 did have better sliders and roster edits but Live 10 also featured about two players on the cpu offence who took all the shots. This game has much better shot distribution and realistic offenses for the cpu. Live 10 had NO fast break game either while Live 16 does. I really liked Live 10 back in the day and 16 has a similar feel but clearly better imo.

Lives take on Pro Am was definitely a good choice...

5 on 5 just isn't for me as far as Live goes- but I gave gotten back into Pro Am recently....it's not the dunk fest it started out as anymore either...

I'd say that if you put the games side by side today, certainly 16 is better. But comparatively, back in 2010 Live 10 was certainly a stronger title than Live 16 in 2015. My opinion anyway.

Agree that 16 has a very similar "feel" to 10, which is what has me playing right now. If they can add a post game, do something about the floaty passes and do a least a little better job with animations next year I'll be somewhat happy.

Re: The one (main) reason why you persist?

Play Live for a week straight and then play 2k again and oh my God, the way 2k literally pulls you out of position and restricts action while forcing is so appearance its insane. Complete insanity.

None of that feeling is in Live and that, in my opinion is the #1 reason after a week of the game.

Thing can cheap and exploity, and not 'look' realistic, but damn they had the right idea with Play Free. If you can do it, you do it. Weird animation yea, but honestly, I would rather see awkward hook shot on a high% shot go in, than be taken into some wild up and under animation allowing the time for defenders to come over.

I don't think I'm ever going g to switch back. I do not care about customization when the actual game feels like the same thing over and over and over.
