I also don't like that either the PS2 or Xbox versions do not have any type of 480p Progressive Scan Widescreen. The players and the court will look all stretched out on a widescreen TV. On the PS2 that is expected, but on the Xbox it is dissapointing.

This is what the article says. I think they are just pointing out that there is no widescreen support, which really sucks.
