how do you feel about the 3pt shot tweak in the update?

i noticed that on streams this is getting mixed opinions so i wonder how peole here feel about it. did it help the game or did it hurt?

They overdid it imo. I think it's because slider are in increments of 10, should be 5. I'm missing wide open thread 3/4 time while getting 50-55% on the meter. It's frustrating when you try to get open shots and miss while guys just run into paint for dunks and layups

I started a dynasty with cavs first two games was after the patch, game really played very nice, then the next day it just played like live 14 where I couldn't make a wild open jumper to save my life so am playing my league until another tweak or patch if there's anymore to come.

Another patch is in order to iron out the game further and apply 3pt shooting adjustments for both human and cpu, etc. They also must fix patch induced problems like missing jerseys, stadium sound problems, etc.

I use to run my offense through kyrie irving, but after the patch even while left wide open he still misses more then he makes. i had one at 60 percent miss. Also Leonard has taken a hit. he use to be reliable for 2-3 shots from beyond the ark a game. now, not so much. But danny green has not been affected much by the patch. So its a bit confusing.

Much more realistic now. You can still hit open threes easy enough for sure. I think it's contested and average shooters who seem to have taken the hit more noticeably, which I think is for the better.

The more I play the more I agree with this point of view. In fact I was planning on reporting this observation. I think we are simply accustomed to the easy shooting pre patch. We have to readjust our approach and take wiser shots born from good ball movement, etc. Granted, there are still missed open shots, on occasion, however, that mimics the real game and you will see these happenings occur during the course of a real life game. I also agree that average to poor shooters are more impacted by this change. However, even for the best shooters, contested shots are more difficult to make as it should be. I like this as it encourages judicious shot selection and better ball rotation by the human. If any tweaks occur in this regard it should be slight.

I think they made it a bit more difficult than it should be relative to the medium range jumper. They basically turned it down a full slider notch or so. Offline I find 50 is now good. I really wish they had 5 point increments for easier fine-tuning. Other sliders aren't very sensitive but the 3 point slider is.

100% agree with this. Both running plays for shooters and playing defense against them feels more satisfying after the collection of updates (game play patch, rosters, synergy, etc.). I've said previously on the forums, Stars are standing out more, but do not feel OP.

all of the shots im missing are pretty much me doing what that says. while the CPU runs down the court with a shooter and just pulls up from the line and have it go in.

how is that fair?

Shooting am really struggling with especially 3pts can't make one to save my life I do take a lot of threes due to the way I play the game, and most of my attempt or open shoots but I shouldn't be shooting 3-23 with open shoots and good shoots are semi good shoots its really annoying. I guess once the player starting running at you its a guarded or contest shoot. Have a better chance making it with no one around.
