1up.com posts review, 9/10, they luuuuuv that dunk contest!

Pretty brief, and doesn't really focus on alot of our concerns.

I found this quote kind of amusing -- "By taking what could be considered the most exciting event that the NBA has going for it these days, EA hands us the opportunity to dunk to our hearts delight. "

You know, I tend to think the playoffs are the most exciting event, then followed by maybe the season openers, draft and sometimes the trade deadline. Hehe, I didn't even watch the All-star events outside of the actual game and the rookie/soph game last season.

    thats the good

    but here is the bad
NBA Live 2005 plays a solid game of basketball, but even the flashy new features can't hide the fact that it isn't a huge step up from last year's edition.

"Those who do have the tenacity to learn complicated dunks will find that performing them is pretty satisfying, and thankfully a practice mode is included. But in the end, a lot of folks will probably mess around with the dunk mode a little bit, get frustrated, and forget about the mode entirely"- Gamespot
This does not sound too good for Live

            Just wanted to add....
It seems like Gamespot is much more honest than IGN. IGN makes this godly thing out of Live with tiny minor flaws. But the fact that defenders cathc up easily, stop on fastbreaks, and the whole "force field" are not just unnoticable flaws.
